Moments later, Montana dragged you into the foyer where a group of teens stood; they looked about your age. Montana kept smiling enthusiastically and had her left arm draped around your shoulders.

"Hey guys! We have a new frienddd!" She says, singing the last word.

As soon as she finished the sentence, you noticed a familiar brunette whip her head around and towards you.

She was standing at the edge of the room, obviously waiting for you.

You felt a pang of guilt that you had abandoned Brooke like that.

"Ermm.. it's nice to meet you guys but I need to check with my friend one thing quickly." You say, not making eye contact or processing who they were and how they looked.

You quickly shoved past them, leaving a disappointed Montana Duke with nothing to do but stare at you as you approached Brooke.

"Hey." You say awkwardly, again, not making eye contact.

"Hey." She returns your words, meeting your eyes for a split second before turning away.

"So.." You begin speaking but Brooke cuts you off.

"You know, it's fine if you want to go camping with them. I have my classes." She says, almost slurring her words because she said them so fast.

You could see in her face that she didn't want to loose her first friend.

"Yeah but L.A. is a dangerous place sometimes" You say, a small grin forming on your face, "Maybe.. you could come camping with us."

Brooke gave a small chuckle, it seemed your smile was as infectious as Montana's.

"Maybe." She says, sighing as you grabbed her hand and lead her towards Montana and her friends.

"Got room for one more?" You say, staring at the group of teens.

Now that you actually looked at them, you noticed that the blonde boy was actually the aerobics instructor. You knew he was young but you didn't think he'd be this young.

There was a brown haired boy, he looked like he'd been training for something since he just had that sort of vibe to him. He looked like an idiot though, not very intellectual.

There also was a dark skinned, more humane looking boy. He clearly looked like the only one who could think straight. He also was carrying a bag that said 'Veterinary School of Los Angeles' so he was probably the smart one too.

"Woahhhh!" Brooke says taking a step back but still smiling; maybe it was just to be polite, "I only said maybe!"

"Come on Brooke!" Montana says, looking at her with puppy eyes.

That was odd, you didn't remember her sharing her name.

Either way you just brushed it off. It didn't matter that much. She had probably just overheard you talking to her in the Aerobics Class.

Brooke sighs and rolls her eyes but still happily says..

"Fine! I'm in!"
