The landscape was barren for miles around. The only signs of life were a massive building that seemingly grew put of the side of the mountain. The five were walking around on the ground, going toward the building.

"So this is what another world is like," Ezra said, "not gonna lie, I thought it'd be full of more life."

"Not every world is the same," Kanan said, "some will be jungles, some cities, some will even be deserts. And some will be like this."

"Still," Hera said, "so far, there's nothing here. Let's just find the keyhole, then one of you three can lock it."

The three nodded at her. Before they continued on to the building, they heard a strange swishing sound. Sabine turned around and saw a small violet creature with red eyes. Ezra turned around and saw it as well. They summoned their keyblades.

"Heartless!" Ezra said.

"Those aren't Heartless," Sabine half snapped, "they're Unversed!"

Kanan turned around and summoned his keyblade. More Unversed began appearing around them. Hera summoned her wand and Zeb summoned his shield. They all began striking and casting magic at the Unversed. Kanan, Hera, and Zeb were fighting as a unit while Ezra was fighting Unversed by himself and Sabine was tearing through them on her own. Several seconds later all of the Unversed were destroyed.

"I don't get it," Ezra said, dematerializing his keyblade and walking toward Kanan, "there's another kind of enemy apart from Heartless and Nobodies?"

"I did say they were only some of the enemies we'd be facing," Kanan said.

"So then what are Unversed?"

"Unversed are negative emotions given monster form."

They heard an Unversed swish behind them. Before they could react a beam of energy hit it and it dissipated. Outside the building was a man and a woman.

"Didn't Artie say there were multiple monsters out here?" The man asked.

"Yeah," the woman responded, "there were, but now they're not, and those people are."

They slowly walked toward the group. Kanan walked toward them having dematerialized his keyblade.

"My name is Kanan," he said, "these are my colleagues, Hera, Zeb, Ezra, and Sabine."

"My name is Myka," the woman said, "my partner here is Pete."

"How did you destroy those things?" Pete asked.

Kanan summoned his keyblade.

"You destroyed them with artifacts?" Myka asked.

"Artifacts?" Kanan asked, "This is a keyblade."

"Keyblade?" Everyone heard from the building's entrance.

An older, more rotund man was walking toward them. Myka and Pete seemed to know him.

"Are you keyblade wielders?" He asked.

"You know about keyblades?" Kanan asked.

"Artie," Myka said to the man, "what are keyblades?"

"I will answer your questions inside," Artie said, "come, into the Warehouse."

All eight of them walked toward the door Artie came from. Through the door was a long hallway with another door at the end. Through that door was an office with yet another door. In the office was a young woman.

"Artie," she said, "who are they?"

"Claudia, they are wielders," Artie responded, "and you know what that means."

"Wielders? But I thought they were a myth."

"The things you've seen here and you still believe in myths?"

"What are you talking about?" Kanan asked.

Artie began typing into various computers as he explained.

"Before the first Warehouse, artifacts weren't as common. Whenever one with exceptional power came along, said artifact would upset the entire balance of the world. Before that ever happened, warriors with swords shaped like keys would appear and lock the artifact, effectively rendering it powerless."

He turned a computer monitor toward them and they saw primitive drawings of people with giant keys pointing at rocks, sticks, and spears made of the two.

"Ever since the Warehhouse was created, there haven't been any keyblade wielders to lock artifacts. We simply depower them and keep them in storage. So if you guys are here, that means there's an artifact out there with power beyond imagining."

"But what are artifacts?" Ezra asked.

"They are object given power by emotions," Claudia explained, "the more powerful the emotion, the more powerful the artifact."

"And if Unversed are born from negative emotions, then could an artifact be creating them?"

"It's possible," Artie said.

They received an alert on the computer. It read "monsters appearing in Austria" and showed many Unversed skittering about.

"Austria?" Pete asked.

"You don't think...," Myka said.

"Well, he was Austrian," Artie said, "and he would have been bleeding with negativity."

"What?" Hera asked.

"Claudia," Artie said, ignoring Hera, "check our inventory for--"

"Anything belonging to him?" Claudia interrupted, "On it."

"Belonging to who?" Zeb asked.

"One of the worst human beings in existence," Artie said.

"Found one that we don't have," Claudia said.

All of them went to her computer and saw a picture of a paintbrush and oil palette.

"That's it," Artie said, "Adolf Hitler's brush and palette."
