There was something different about Eternity's Requiem. He couldn't quite figure out what, but there was a difference in how he remembered it looking and feeling. It was lacking a certain... dark element. He went to the castle and could feel the energy that had charged the air. The energy of light snuffing out darkness. He could almost tell where Sheev was destroyed.
"My poor other half," he sighed, "destroyed by keyblades ever so swiftly. Now awaiting my own destruction."
"If I may," he heard, "I noticed that you're wearing a different coat. I think gray suits you better than white."
A dark corridor opened and Magica DeSpell walked out of it. He shook his head.
"I am not Sheev. I am a half of another person to which Sheev was my other."
"Sure could have fooled me. I mean, you two look kinda alike, you sound sorta similar, and you have the exact same aura."
"Because we are the same whole, but two different entities."
"Uh huh."
He and Magica went into the castle. They got to the throne room and the man pulled on the armrests of the throne. The curtains behind the throne lifted and the wall fell into the floor. What stood before them was a mural depicting Kingdom Hearts emanating darkness.
"For his talk of wiping everything new for perfect balance," he said, "Xehanort did provide me with something of note. Kingdom Hearts's counterpart, the X-blade, is no longer thirteen and seven. I need only a pure light to clash with once I am whole again."
"Who were you?" Magica asked with her eyes squinting at him.
"Who I was is not important. Yet."
"Then who are you?"
He removed his hood. His eyes were closed, but he opened them, revealing similarly yellow eyes to Sheev, as well as a similar facial structure.
"My name... is Palpatine."
End.
