There were massive mountains all around them. The greenery was mostly grassy, but the valleys had jungles in them. On top of one of the mountains in the distance appeared to be a golden palace.

"This place is interesting," Ezra said.

Going down one of the mountains the group saw what looked like a man in green and an animal running from a man with a tall purple... backpack?

"What's happening with that llama and that guy?" Zeb asked.

"I don't know," Kanan said, "but I think whatever's going on is between those three."

Sabine saw a keyhole shaped indentation in a mountain. She summoned her keyblade and pointed it at the indentation. It opened into a keyhole. Sabine's keyblade shot a white beam into it. They all heard a lock clicking, causing everyone to notice how fast she found the keyhole.

"Well," Hera said, "that was easy."

"Looks like there's one world left," Kanan said, "let's get to it."

Everyone turned around ready to return to the G.H.O.S.T. and Sabine dematerialized her keyblade.

"Oh, but you mustn't leave yet," they all heard, "you just got here."

They turned around and saw a dark corridor open. The being in the white coat exited it and it closed. Everyone summoned their weapons.

"Come now," it said, "you honestly think you can defeat me? Have your last two attempts taught you nothing?"

"Yeah," Kanan said, "One on one is your specialty."

He nodded at Hera and Zeb. Those two charged forward. Ezra and Sabine were about to charge when Kanan held his hand up.

"Watch what we can do," Kanan said, "see if you can learn anything from it."

Kanan leapt after Zeb and Hera. The being in the white coat materialized two whips that sucked in light, making them look like black holes I the form of whips. Hera cast thunder on it. The lightning lanced down and was about to strike it when it brought one of the whips over its head, blocking the lightning strike. Zeb threw his shield, but in the returning of the whip to its side, the whip smacked the shield away. Kanan was approaching it at high speed. It shortened a whip into a staff and blocked Kanan's attack, locking the keyblade and the empty staff.

Kanan could finally see that under the hood, other than the yellow eyes, there was a mouth turning into a nasty smile. It turned the staff back into a whip. The whip wrapped around Kanan's neck and the other wrapped itself around Zeb and Hera. Ezra immediately ran towards them, calling their names. A dark corridor opened behind it.

"This should be interesting," it said, "allow bitterness and despair to consume you."

It walked through yanking hard on the whips, sending Kanan, Hera, and Zeb into the dark corridor. Ezra was ten feet away and he leapt for the dark corridor hoping he could get through. It closed and disappeared when his free hand was only inches away. He landed on his stomach and slid a few feet. He got up on his feet and looked back and then around, searching desperately for a dark corridor. After a few seconds of desperate searching, he screamed in frustration and sadness, falling to his hands and knees.

Sabine saw red. All thought and reason was gone. The only thing on her mind was how Ezra wasn't fast enough.

"This is your fault," she said, stalking her way to Ezra, "if you had been faster, then you could have caught them. If you hadn't listened to Kanan, you could have stopped that thing from taking them!"

Ezra looked up to see Sabine raising her keyblade to strike him. He quickly summoned his and blocked her attack.

"My fault?!" He said in disbelief, blocking her attacks, "What about you? You could have done something! You just stood there in shock when they were being strangled and restrained! If you had joined me, maybe we could have saved them!"

"Don't turn this around on me! You have a keyblade just like I do! Anyone who has one should be faster, stronger, tougher than anyone! Anyone would be honored to have one, and yet you act like there's no responsibility to deal with!!!"

"But I never wanted the keyblade!!!"

At that statement, they struck their keyblades together hard, causing an explosion of light that sent both of them flying backward. Sabine landed on her back and so did Ezra. It just registered to Sabine what Ezra said.

"What?"

"I said I never wanted a keyblade," Ezra said, "in Twilight Town I liked hearing the stories of Sora and the urban legends of the monsters that roamed freely. And that's all I wanted to hear: stories. I never wanted to be a part of them. I didn't want to end up like my... I just... I never wanted to be involved in this battle between light and dark. But when the keyblade showed up... I think I always knew I'd he thrown into it."

Sabine almost looked she was trying to understand a foreign language. Ezra never wanted the keyblade?

"I... I didn't know..." Sabine said, finally showing some sympathy to Ezra, "where I'm from... keyblades are objects held in the highest regard. When someone of age is told to summon a weapon, everyone hopes to Kingdom Hearts that they get a keyblade. And I was the only one in generations to summon one. I just... I thought that everyone who had a keyblade knew the responsibility and ability they held."

Ezra dematerialized his keyblade and stood up. He walked over to Sabine and offered her his hand. Unlike their first meeting, Sabine actually took his hand.

"You don't like me," Ezra said, "I know that. But if we want to get them back, we need to work together."

"Well," Sabine said, "we have one world to go. Maybe I can get to like you when we're there."

They both turned the same way and went to the G.H.O.S.T.
