Chapter 7

Jeanne "Ashley.... It can't be..."

Jeanne looked at Ashley as if she was some sort of ghost, A sadistic grin crept on Ashleys face.

Jason "So, you two know each other?"

Ashley "I guess you could say that"

Jeanne "Y...... You're supposed... T.. To be dead"

The smile on Ashleys face dissappeared.

Ashley "Is that what you think? Foolishness"

Jeanne "So, you're still working with Rex?"

Ashley "I think you already know the answer to that"

Suddenly, Ashley's hand was engulfed in flames, with the flames she created a blade.

Jeanne "So... You've come to kill me?"

Ashley "Not yet.... But here's a taster of what's to come"

She immediately rushed at Jeanne who had no time to react, however before the blade could hit Jeanne, it had been caught by Jason, the blade didn't seem to hurt him.

Ashley "So.... Are we enlisting the help of Princes now?"

Jason "You're the one who killed those people downstairs didn't you?"

Another smile crept on Ashley's face.

Ashley "So what if I did?"

Jeannes face immediately dropped and a look of horror appeared.

Jason pushed Ashley away and immediately got out his own sword.

Jason "So, you're looking to play, huh? Alright, I guess I got some time to kill..."

Ashley "Well its your lucky day"

Ashley immediately charged at Jason and started to attack, Jason was merely parrying all of Ashley's strikes and she was getting infuriated.

Ashley "Fight back you coward!"

Jason "Try harder then"

Ashley "GRRRRRAAHHHHHHH!"

Ashley caught Jason with a surprise burst of fire which sent him back a bit, Ashley used this opportunity to escape.

Jason looked over at Jeanne who seemed to have a permanent look of shock on her face.

Jason "Come on, we need to get out of here"

Jeanne "Yeah..... OK"

Both of them decided to leave the building and make their way back to the safe house where they found both Arcanum and Alice.

Arcanum "Thank god you're back! We have news!"

They then spent the next few minutes explaining the Sword Of Thanatos.

Jeanne "So you think this will help us with Rex?"

Alice "Definitely"

Jeanne "Well then, where is it?"

Alice "They're transporting it tonight, it's going to Rexs Tower"

Jeanne "Then we need to prepare for that"

Arcanum "Exactly"

Alice "So tell us, what happened with you guys?"

Jeanne "I..... Ran into an old friend"

Jason "Who tried to kill us"

Alice "Who is she? Cmon tell us!"

Jeanne hesitated for a moment, then she took a deep breath and started to explain.
