Chapter 11: Showtime

Chapter 11

Jason fell into a pitch black void, he couldn't see anything or anyone around him, he pulled out his guns and got himself ready.

He walked a couple of steps forward, nothing happened.

He turned around and walked back, nothing happened again.

Jason "What the hell?"

Jason had no idea what the hell was happening, suddenly a thousand different voices were rushing in his mind, however only 3 of the voices seemed to be clear"

??? "Poor Jason.... Are you lost?"

??? "Is this what I looked up to?"

??? "Honestly... What did I ever see in you?"

Jason looked up and saw 3 figures approaching him they all had white skin, hair, and clothes, with black eyes, and bulging veins around their eyes, The figures took the forms of Jason's older sister Rachel, his twin sister Lauren and his Deceased best  friend Violet.

Jason "What... Is this?"

Hollow Rachel "Awww he doesn't recognise us"

Hollow Lauren "A shame indeed"

Hollow Violet "So you forgot my dying words didn't you?"

Jason couldn't believe what he was seeing before him, all 3 women were smirking maliciously at him.

Jason "I don't believe this... This is just my mind playing tricks on me"

??? "Looks like you're not as dumb as you look"

Another person stepped forward, this time it was Rex but he was vastly different, his skin had become muated orange, his eyes glowed red, and his hair is now white, his ribs  were fang like, exposing an opening in his chest.

Jason "What have you done?"

Rex "What you made me do, I had no options left, but the great Despair Embodied was so merciful in granting me some of his power, and now I will realise my destiny"

He clicked his fingers and revealed that they were standing in a hellish arena.

Rex "This will be your burial ground"

Hollow Rachel "But don't worry, afterwards you can join us"

Hollow Lauren "It gets kinda lonely"

Hollow Violet "And then we can be together.... Forever"

Jason "You're just my negative thoughts.... My regrets... And I need to move on"

Jason pulled out his sword and striked down the 3 Hollows, as his sword made contact with them they all evaporated and faded away, he then pointed his sword at Rex.

Jason "This ends now"

Jason and Rex then engaged in combat, it was clear that with the new power up that Rex had gotten a lot stronger, Jason was using sword strike after sword strike but nothing was working, he then entered Demons Killswitch but even that wasn't enough.

After a while he was overwhelmed, he was down on one knee with Rex standing over him in triumph.

Rex "Poor Jason Tate... No father, no mother, no sisters, no lover.... All alone"

Rex then felt something stab in his gut, Jason looked back and saw the person who stabbed Rex.

Jeanne "HE'S NOT ALONE!"

Jeanne then helped Jason back up to his feet and used her Angel Dash ability to get some distance from Rex.

Jason "Listen to me... I told you this is not your figh-"
