You ripped open the door to his apartment, stumbling inside with Izuku directly behind you.
You were too late.
Shigaraki's hand touched Inko, and he stared at the two of you with a wide grin as she crumbled before your eyes.
"No!"
You fell to your knees, and Shigaraki moved to disappear into the warp gate. But before he did so, he said one thing. "It's your fault, Y/N."
And he was gone.
"Izuku..." The greenette fell forward. "M-mom..." He gasped out.
"Izuku, I'm- I'm s-so sorry." Your voice broke, and your throat ran dry.
A scream of agonizing pain escaped his lips, and the two of you held each other like the other would disappear if they didn't.
