You stumbled into your room, panting heavily.
Oh thank god, I got away.

Footsteps sounded down the hallway, and you froze. Oh, god damn it! I can't just get a break, can I?!

Quickly, you shut the window and shoved your bag, hoodie, and mask into the closet. You grabbed a book and jumped on the bed, opening it to a random spot.
And then, the door opened.

"Oi, brat." Shigaraki rasped.

"What do you want, dipshit?"

"Sensei wants to talk to you." He growled out.

Your breath caught. "Fine. Where's Kurogiri?"
As if on cue, a warp gate opened at the foot of your bed.

With a sigh, you stood from your bed and walked through the gate into the dimly lit room.

"Ah, Y/N. Welcome." All for One rumbled lowly.

"Father." You greeted. "Did you need me for something?"

"Yes. I figured it was time for you to meet the man that would be playing as your father at your time at U.A."

You looked up, gaze meeting with a tall, lanky man.
"He goes by the name Ventus."

You arched a brow.
"I was expecting someone a little more..." you shrugged, "I dunno, bulky."

"Hah." Ventus scoffed. "Kid's got spunk. I like it." He grinned, and despite his less-than-intimidating figure, it still sent a shiver up your spine.

"Father," you started. "I... wanted to ask you something."

All for One hummed and dismissed Ventus with a wave of his hand. "Really? Please, do tell."

"W-well, I heard Seven, one of your u-underlings, escaped police custody."

"She did."

Your eyes lit up, and you nearly jumped in happiness. "Really? Where is she?"

"I killed her."

Your expression fell.
"W-what?"

He leaned forward, entwining his hands.
"She's a distraction to you."

Your throat ran dry at his next words.
"You should never have gotten so close to her. It's your very own fault, and she had to suffer the consequences."

Your fault.
Your fault.
Your fault.
YOUR FAULT.

Wordlessly, emotionlessly, you stood and left the room.

The warp gate closed behind you as you set foot into your bedroom.
Your knees felt weak underneath you, and your hands shook terribly.
You clenched the bottom of your shirt.

Finally, you collapsed, and an agonizing scream of pain escaped your lips.

~...~

You left the bar again that night, clad in your signature black hoodie, villain mask, and a navy blue backpack stuffed with weapons.
Your thoughts ran a mile a minute, and you felt the urgent need to do something to get your mind off of it.

The late-night air made you shudder, and the streets were empty.
You jumped from building to building, peeking into the alleyways.

Suddenly, the light of a bright fire caught your eye, and you skidded to a stop, looking over the edge of the building.
'There's no way that a measly old dumpster fire could be so bright...'
