Context: Things are finally becoming normal. Eraserhead has adopted you and Izuku, and you and Shoto have started dating. It's been a while. I think it's time for your first kiss, don't you? :)

~...~

"Your sister is getting married, right?"

Shoto nodded. "Yeah."

You smiled. "So..." You started, bumping his shoulder lightly. "I wonder if I'll ever become a Todoroki."

A blush dusted Todoroki's cheek's. "Y/N-"

You laughed. "I'm joking, Sho'. We're still way to young to even talk about stuff like that."

"...I.."

He looked like he wanted to say something.

"What is it, Shoto?"

You waited until he finally mustered up enough courage to say whatever was on his mind. He met your gaze. "I think I would much rather become an Aizawa."

And you just... stared.
Because, oh, he just proposed to you.
You fell in love with him all over again.

And you never knew what romance was, or what love was. You'd never seen it, or felt it.
You'd never felt the need to be romantically involved with someone.

"I'm pretty sure wanting to kiss your best friend can be considered as love."

"Oh." You whispered. "So this is what you meant."
You reach out to clasp Shoto's cheek.

Shoto avoids your eyes, cheeks flushed.

"I'm going to kiss you." You blurt, and Shoto's gaze instantly meets yours. "Ok?"

"Please." His voice breaks.

He closes his eyes, and even though you had absolutely no idea what you were doing, you brought your lips to meet his.

It's clumsy at first, with bumping noses and clashing foreheads.

You huff a breath of laughter, and oh, the sound is so perfect, Shoto parts his lips slightly to capture it whole.

That's when you find that both of you are open-mouthed.

You both freeze, and yes, it was unintentional, but it felt so right.

The second time is rushed, a desperate attempt to capture that feeling again.

Your gasps against Shoto's lips are like an invitation for him to lick into your mouth. He tangles his hands in your hair, pulling you closer, and you just want to melt when he does that.

This, you think, is like nothing I could have ever imagined.

You're not sure what you're feeling right now.
This is too much and too little at the same time.
The sensation is both overwhelming and glorious.

You lean back slightly, Shoto follows you, and you end up flat against his futon.

It's at this point that the two of you pull away for air, foreheads leaned against each other, hands clasping the other's cheek.

"You," Shoto smiles, meeting your gaze again, "you're just not fair."

You grin. "Thank you, I try."

"We're going to have to get better at this." Shoto says as he kisses your hand with a happy sigh.

Your eyes sparkle with pure happiness. "We have time, Sho."

And you do.
