A Whole New Beginning

Chapter 3- The Recovery

Dominic sat up in the hospital as he adjusted to this news that he had saved horses however Dominic's family weren't happy. Hayley Heart gave a stern and extremly painful glare at Dominic hoping he would understand. Her eyes quickly darted around and asked jack to talk outside. "Jack I would apreeciate it if you can keep all your family drama away from my family" Hayley quite sternly said with distaste of Jack and his family. Jack was quite hurt by this motion and decided to leave to go for a drive.

His family were so happy about the horses being okay and didn't notice him slip away. On the road Jack felt so distant from all his troubles and yet he felt so sad. Meanwhile in the hospital Hayley smirked with pride as it became clear to her that she had protected her child from a horrible man. Jack had driven to the site where Dominic had saved the horses and stopped his car noticing another horse by the side of the road who was badly injured. its fur was majestic black with white hooves and a marking on the bridge of it's nose.

It took Jack no time at all to phone the vet and report what he had found, once the horse was transported straight to the clinc jack returned to the hospital to see that no one had noticed his dissapperence. Thoughts of anger floated there way into Hayley's head as she saw that Jack had returned but before she could move Dominic became restless and stopped breathing tears befell his family as they were escorted out of the room by the nurses. Luckly the Doctors were able to save Dominic's life but they placed him in critical watch and only allowed one person at a time to go and see him, Hayley was going to step forward and go first but Jack quickly went ahead. As Jack stared at Dominic's beaten up body he apoligises mutiple times hoping Dominic would hear him and know that jack never meant for anyone other than himself to get hurt. 

"It's not your fault Jack" Dominic slowly replied to Jack, "Yeah but I can't help but feel gulity about everything that happened to you, you don't deserve it your a good kid" Jack replied with all of his heart. Dominic coughed as he heard those words and replied with such dignity " Jack I would chase after them again no matter what , Jack please don't let anyone else in hear I don't want them seeing me like this." 

Jack kept his word and told the doctors what Dominic said and within a couple of week he was well enough to go back home with his family, As long as he is watched carefully.
