A Whole New Beginning

Chapter 15-Subject Day

After helping out at Heartland the rest of Dominic's day went by quickly and then came the worse day of the week Monday morning, that one day you just don't want to get up because it makes the weekend feel like it never happened but for Dominic he always wants for that last weekend to have happned as he had got a girlfriend who he truly cares for. it finaly felt like everything was going his way for once and he didn't want to break the pattern. Howeer before Dominic got ready to head over to the ranch he dropped his Girlfriend a good morning text now that he finally had her number and headed out the door. On his way to the ranch Dominic felt a shift in the atmosphere and it seriously got Dominic thinking about what he wanted to do for his main subject as today was choosing day and at Hudson High it was first come first serve. Dominic was not alone when it came to this situation as Georgie also was deep in thought about what she wanted to do as well.   

Getting straight to work the second Dominic arrived he didn't have time to ask Georgie what she was thinking or how she was feeling about today. thoughts of the future crossed Dominic's mind as the pressure of the day really started to break down the barriers of defense that teachers and parents install in children from a young age to boast their confidence. Round and Round they go as every subject began filling Dominic's head, he liked the mjoroity of them but what do I want to do? He thought to himself. The morning pasted even quicker than anyone expected and The kids were all on their way to school Dominic and Georgie did their very best to comfort one another and fuel their unique romance at the exact same time. The pair of them arrived at school and everywhere they looked was a different banner broadcasting a different subject it's like the whole school was thriving on tourmenting each and every undecided child. 

Each and every student had to state the subject they wanted to do in front of the their whole year. It truly terrified Dominic as his not comfortable about speaking in public and what is worse is that he had no clue what he trully desired, Georgie was also feeling lost. Suddenly she thought deep down to what makes her smile, "I know what I want to do" Georgie shouted with glee. Greeted by a warming hug from her boyfriend she then ran off giving Dominic even more time to think about what he wanted to do. as thoughts raced through his head time passed qucikly and it was now time for every student to announce what they wanted to study however one student wasn't there and that was Dominic. Text after text Georgie sent and got no reply. "Dominic Bowerman would you come here and tell us what subject you will be studying." Mrs Wells asked to the crowd of people. They all looked around for any sign of Dominic. 

 Georgie got a text on her phone from Dominic saying i'm here. A guitar starts playing and the teachers became speechlss as dominic started walking in from he back of the hall strumming a guitar.

Stunning the entire room Dominic went up to center stage and looked for is girlfriend and continued singing. Once the song was finished he took a deep breath. "I want to do music and business." Dominic stated causing the entire room to get up and clap, "That is not allowed Mr Bowerman, you can only pick one" Mrs Wells said not impressed however before she could say another word the headmaster raised his voice "Yes you can do both Mr Bowerman" everyone go up once again and cheered then Dominic ran down the stage to his girlfriend and kissed her passionatley. 

Georgie went up to the stage next and took deep sincre breaths. "I want to study equestrian arts" Everyone cheered for her as that was really personel and the mjority of people have seen how much Georgie cares for her horses. The very last person to get called up to the stage was Skye and she seriously felt the pressure of everyone staring at her and then she stared at the smile on her brothers face and stated she will be studying Film production. the day was finally over and everyone was pretty happy with what they have chosen to do for the remainder of there time at school as well as the main core subjects.
