A Whole New Beginning

Chapter 1-The Big Move

Dominic was enjoying having a lay in as he was lazy and didn't really have much to do since it was the Christmas break However that changed when his annoying older brother burst in and decided to disturb the tranquil nap Dominic was having. "Wake up you dumbo it is time we pack up all of your stuff and put it in the moving truck" Lloyd shouted at the top of his lungs. "Oh shit. Today is moving day." Dominic replied in a shocked tone. "Yes it is and you haven't even started packing anything yet" Lloyd commented as he stared at all of the empty box's around the bedroom. 

Lloyd decided to be a bit helpful and started packing up Dominic's stuff as he went and got  his breakfast in his nice bright green pajama's. "Dominic dear have you packed up all your belongings yet" Hayley Heart asked in a very stern voice. "No sorry Mom I have been very busy trying to Enjoy Christmas a little bit." Dominic replied honestly and calmly. However the look of anger raced it's way across Haley's face as she gave him a Massive sigh. Dominic was doing his best to stay positive about this big move to Hudson,Alberta in Canada however he knew his entire life would change.

Lloyd had finished packing all of Dominic's things and started putting them into the big loving truck. The entire family got dressed and ready then departed from their old,comfortable home in their sliver Nissan. All of the family expected Dominic to be in tears about leaving behind the good memories however his wasn't as he knew it was for the best reasons. Skye Heart Dominic's twin sister was playing music on her headphones when she started singing out loud and it made the entire car smile with joy as she had a magnificent voice. 

Skye finished the song she was singing then on the radio came serious by Mattybraps and before anyone even asked who knows this song Dominic started singing it word by word leaving the whole car shooken as no one knew he could sing. The heart family arrived at the airport to get on their plane to Canada. Their journey was 6 hours and 59 minutes and Dominic was so happy as he could sleep the entire way and not be disturbed by anyone or anything. The family went through all the checks perfectly fine and boarded their flight as soon as Dominic got to his seat he fell asleep like a baby panda. Before long the plane was touching down in Canada and the heart family left the untidy,  chaotic airport to head towards their new home. The Heart family arrived at their new home within a hour of leaving the airport and the faces of all the children lit up like fireworks as it was big like super big. 

The moving truck arrived shortly after the family and Hayley and Stuart Heart ordered there children to help unpack before they do anything else as there was a lot of stuff they brought with them. The children hesitated before agreeing and worked like a machine to get the job done a lot quicker. After all of the main things were unpacked Dominic grabbed his things and raced to one of the bedrooms with a double bed in and claimed it as his room. No one in the family saw Dominic for about four hours as he was enjoying decorating his entire new room. Once Dominic had serviced from his room he saw all of the family sitting down and they asked him to join them as it was important. Dominic came over and perched himself on the the arm of their posh red sofa. "Dominic, Skye you both have interviews at a local cafe today it is time that you both started working for money that you earn and I want both of you to see this as a brand new start on the next chapter of your life." Stuart Heart said in a collected voice. Dominic and Skye looked at each other with a concerned looked than looked at their father and nodded yes. 

Both of the siblings go to the job interview and they are calm and collected. The cafe is known as maggies and it is a cafe as well as a little shop containing horse tack. Dominic and Skye show themselves as very confident in the interview and Maggie was really impressed by this and offered them the jobs straight away. 

One week later

Dominic is cleaning the counter top as a older man walks in to maggies and approaches him asking for a black coffee. Dominic pours the man a black coffee. "You're new here aren't you"the older gentlemen said with such curiosity. "Yes"Dominic replied reluctantly. "My name is jack Bartlett I own the heartland ranch up the way a bit it's where my grand daughter looks after sick and Mistreated horses" jack said with confidence,"well that sounds like a lot more fun then working as a waiter Jack" Dominic said quite relaxed. "Well it was nice meeting you Dominic Heart I've go to run I have a ranch to run I hope to see you again soon" Jack commented as he left maggies with a smile.
