A Whole New Beginning

Chapter 16-Change is in the air

The children have tooken on a lot of responsibiltity with their chosen subjects however Dominic was the only one who took on more than anyone else as he had picked two subjects which has never been done. "Woah I never knew you coud sing like that" Georgie said as the trio walked out of the school building. She got no reply just a smile from her boyfriend. Heading towards the bus they were stopped in their tracks as all eyes fell upon them. Dominic felt the pressure as his heart began to race, he quickly made his way on to the bus. His friends became worried as it was super clear that he was having a panick attack and Georgie did everything she could to calm Dominic down however nothing worked until Georgie kissed Dominic. His muscles relaxed as Dominic got lost in the kiss.

The trio went there seperate ways as they got off at their stops Dominic and his sister laughed as they entered their house however they were not expecting to see their parents looking so angry. The minute they stepped through the door it was obvious that their parents were fighting again like all the previous times before and yet somehow they always seemed to make up afterwards and that was the best thing in Dominic's eyes. "Ahh my children come sit we have something to disscuss with you." Stuart said with his serious tone. The two siblings sat on the couch paitently.

Dominic's eyes darted around the room trying to find a clue about what his parents wanted to talk about. However he came up empty handed meanwhile his sister was overthinking everything wondering if she did something wrong. Before she could ask a thing her mother entered the room with a concerned look on her face. "You two have become quite close recently and I want to know why, usually your at each others throats. Care to explain?" Hayley question with a serious tone of suspicion in her voice. Skye was about to reply but Dominic shot her a serious look that made her second guess what she was going to say. "We just decided one day that we are done fighting one another as it is just pointless also we have both chosen our subjects today for your information." Dominic said with dignity and pride. They all sat there in slience for the next two minutes and Skye noticed her mother start to tear up and she got up to hug her and comfort her. For the rest of the night the heart family felt closer than ever as the two teenagers talked about their day and what subjects they chose and their parents just became even more proud of their children.
