A Whole New Beginning

Chapter 18-A heartland Birthday

The family knew Lou was right about peter and tim however they had no idea what to do about it. Unlike Lou the rest of the family had things that needed to be done therefore they quickly said their goodbyes and headed out the door. It occured to Lou that the problem was that Tim and Peter didin't know Dominc well enough therefore they were judging him very quickly. Lou needed to fix this and decided to contact Dominic's parents and invite them both to dinner/lunch at Heartland with her and peter. Hayley and stuart agreed to come and have a nice meal as it would give them the oppurtunity to see why Dominic loved being at heartland for most of his days. 

Meanwhile as the parents prepared for there loverly meal Dominic and Georgie arrive at school one minute before the very first bell rang and they rushed to their classes. Dominic's classmates were very impressed with his outfit however some people laughed at him calling him a try hard but he just tuned them out and focused on studying to his best ability however while he was busy studying Skye was slacking off as her teacher went on about stuff no one cares about. Georgie on the other hand was in maths being bored out of her mind and was forced to work with Adam. Ever since Ty's party Georgie had such distaste of Adam, every part of his attitude annoyed her. "Have I lost you forever" Adam asked very concerned. "Honestly I just want to get through this project so lets just do the work" Georgie replied quite quickly making sure she was firm in her tone. Her words cut deep into Adam and slienced him for the whole class but for some reason Georgie wasn't happy about getting him off her back. 

The class ended and Adam stormed off with anger, instead of going to meet up with her friends Georgie chased after him. Findng him in a dark corriodor she approached him, "Look I didn't mean what I said, I was just angry and I guess i'm confused. " Georgie said as she sat back at the wall in confusion. "Well I don't understand what you see in him but I do know his a lucky guy to have you in his life, you're amazing and beautiful" Adam replied as he felt drawn towards Georgie however Georgie felt drawn to adam. Their lips interacted with each others as they shared a deep meaningful kiss. Dominic wasn't even on Georgie's mind and she was just enjoying the moment, Feeling warm and safe. Eventually the pair of them decided to leave but by that time everyone was gone and not a single one of them were anxious or concerned. 

Lou had overworked herself for Dominic and finally filled the family in on what she was doing and how she was doing a massive birthday party for Dominic. Tim and peter were not fond of the idea but the family paid them no attention and Lou being a overworried mother was concerned that Georgie wasn't home yet as she usually is and sent Tim out to look for her. It didn't take long for Tim to find Georgie and he was incredibly shocked to see Adam kiss her goodbye however he was not impressed. They raced back to heartland as the party was meant to start at 20:30 and it was already 20:15. On the journey back Tim kept seeing Georgie check her phone and became interested. "Oh at Heartland we are having a party to celebrate Dominic turning 17 by the way, me and your dad protested but you know your mother" Tim calmly said while keeping his eyes on the asphalt road. "It's his birthday, I never knew" Georgie replied quite shocked. "You know I hope you do the right thing and make the right decison" Tim said as he pulled up to the party just in time. 

Everyone started having fun and laughing and many, many people wished Dominic a happy birthday and he was trully thankful for everyone who had put in all the effort. "Escuse me I have announcement to make, I haven't known Dominic for long but I can tell that his a good person and he has made a impact on a lot of us so as a gift of our thanks we want to give you something amazing." Jack said as amy approached with the mare that gave birth a couple of days ago. "She likes you and I reckon the both of you will make a great pair, as a added bonus my gift to you is that I am goig to teach you to ride her." Amy says with confidence and passion. "Now go enjoy the rest of your party" Ty says as he approaches Amy and the horse. Without even thinking about it eveyone went back to dancing and having a good time. 

Dominic took a little break from dancing with Georgie and got a drink of Pepsi max when Tim approached him with a sad look upon his face. "Is everything okay Tim?" Dominic asked very concerned, "It must have been hard when Georgie told you about her and adam spending the whole day together and kissing eachother goodbye." Tim replied with a tiny bit of sympanthy. "They what" Dominic shouted causing everyone to stop what they were doing and focus on him.
