"Ok, so which one?" I ask Val as I hold up two different skirts over myself in the mirror, I see her smile slightly through the reflection."The black one, I know it's his favourite," she winks, I laugh. She doesn't actually have a clue which he prefers, she's just assuming because it's the tighter one.
"You're right," I throw the other skirt into the cupboard and pull the skirt up and over my hips.
The skirt is a thick black leather and I pair it with a black crop top. I spot Knox's black leather jacket that he had lent to me earlier and decide it matches the skirt perfectly.
I finish off the outfit with some chunky black boots and a dainty gold necklace that says, 'trouble' in cursive. I just so happened to find it while dress shopping before the ball, obviously I had to buy it.
"Damn you look good," Mace says as she enters the room with Ace close by.
Val and Ace had met us at my dorm once their classes had finished, Mace picked me up earlier because she had a free period, her teacher decided not to show up.
"You wanna go grab some food before we go?" Ace asks.
I look down at my phone, 3:30pm. Oh what the hell, I have time to kill. And besides, I'm sick of hospital food.
"Okay let's go," I wink at them as I walk out my dorm. It's getting harder and harder to keep on a smile the longer I'm away from Knox.

We hop out of the car and walk inside, the restaurant is a small Italian place that is decorated in traditional paintings and tomato plants up the walls.
"Ace! Stop eating the tomatoes!" Mace scolds as she drags Ace away from the wall by his ear.
"Ow ow ow ow ow ouchie! Stop! Ow!" Ace whines as he gets pulled over to a table in the back by Mace.
Val is absolutely loosing it and I let out a chuckle. "Mace you are my new idol!" Val exclaims.
"And I got it on camera," I wink with a grin as I hold up my phone.
"Onyx delete that!" Ace yells which earns him a slap to the head from Mace, as well as a scolding for screaming and scaring the other customers.
"Never!" I laugh maniacally.
Val takes my hand and pulls me to the table, "Come on! Mama wants her lasagne!" I let out a snort and take a seat beside Mace. Val takes the seat on the other side of me.
"So, we've established that Val wants her lasagne, what do you guys want?" I ask.
"I would like a delectable glutinous strand doused in a heaping of puréed tomato, garnished with the clippings of the finest herb," Ace states with a posh accent.
I look at Mace confused, hoping she can translate for me.
She sighs, "Spaghetti. He wants spaghetti."
"No! I want a delectable glutinous stran-" Ace starts but Mace is quick to shut him up by shoving the salt shaker into his mouth.
Ace frowns and spits the shaker at Mace, "Ew! That's fucking gross bro!" Mace whines.
"This is the most entertaining shit ever!" Val says, her eyes go wide in sudden recognition when Ace throws the pepper shaker at her head. "Ow! What the fuck?!" She massages her head where the shaker struck.
"Ok, ok," I try to clam everyone down, but that's pretty hard when I, myself, am trying not to laugh, "I think that's enough violence for today."
"But you haven't been hit yet," Val smirks as she raises the shaker into the air.
