We pull apart and I rest my head in the crook of his neck, as we hear a faint knock on the door.

"Can we come in now?" I hear Ace whine, I chuckle against Knox's throat.

"Come on, I know you wanna see your favourite person!" Knox calls back.

The doors burst open and Ace struts in like a runway model.

"Of course I do," he says coming over to me and hugging me, "so how you been?" He asks me.

"Hey! That was rude," Knox huffs, ever the child.

"Well you told me I wanted to see my favourite person, so I saw her," he shrugs with a grin.

"Bitch," Knox mutters.

"Tough talk for a fella who's been left unconscious for two weeks," Ace snaps.

"Two weeks?" The humour is suddenly dropped from Knox's voice.

I look back to him with comforting eyes.

"Oh. . . you didn't know," Ace's humour has also died down. Ace walks closer to Knox and holds him in a tight embrace, "we missed you."

"I missed you guys too, a lot actually," Knox whispers.

Mace walks in with Val beside her, they take a cautious step forward, as if to ask me if it's alright for them come forward.

I just smile and them and they immediately run over and throw their arms over us.

"Group hug!" Val cheers.

"Since when was I a part of your group?" Knox asks with a raised brow.

"Since you decided to make Onyx your future baby mumma," Val states.

"What? She's pregnant?" He looks over me and does a once over as if checking for a bump.

"No you idiot," I slap him lightly on the chest, "she said future."

His face lights up into a large warm smile.

"I like the sound of that," he decides and grabs the back of my neck, pulling me in for another kiss.

"Aw cute. Can you not." Ace says deadpanned.

I laugh against Knox's lips and look to Ace giving him an eye roll.

"Is that my jacket?" Knox looks to me.

I look down at the jacket, as if only just realising. "Oh, yeah. It helped get me through the weeks," I shrug.

"I felt it you know," he says.

I looks to him suddenly, confused.

"Felt what?"

"Your hand. You sitting beside me. The vibrations of your voice when you spoke to me. The light kisses you left on my cheek."

"You did?"

He doesn't answer me and just continues, "you stayed beside me the whole time, didn't you?"

A pink touches my cheeks and I avoid eye contact when I admit it, "yes, I did."

He grabs my chin and turns my gaze to him, "look at me trouble. You kept me there, you kept me fighting. You kept me sane, if you hadn't been there for me to reach out to when I found myself fading, then I would have been vulnerable to the darkness."

"Guys! You were supposed to say the mushy stuff while we were outside!" Ace complains while using the back of his hand to smudge away the tears streaming down him face.

"Aw, sad you're single?" Val sneers.

"Hey! You're single too!" Ace defends.

"But I'm not mad about it! The baddest bitches don't need a man," Val states like it's the most obvious thing in the world.

"Preach!" Mace cheers.

"What was that?" I hear a voice call from the hallway.

Mace looks scared for a second, Kaitlyn.

"Nothing! I was just joking around! I love you babe!" Mace calls back.

I hear a faint sigh coming from Kaitlyn's direction, followed by a small chuckle.

Mace sighs. "That was close," Knox teases.

"Shut up dickface," she slaps him lightly on the head.

"Ouch, that hurt my feewings," Knox responds clutching his heart, whining in a baby voice.

"Hey um, I just wanna say sorry again, you know- for slicing you up like a hunk of lettuce," I apologise.

"It's okay, but we do need to talk about your trust issues. Like for real, you trusted Luke in a second."

"I know and I'm so sorry! I guess I was just worried you'd break my heart." I mumble.

"You don't have to worry about that, because you have me wrapped around your little finger," he points to my pinky.

I smile at him and lie on his chest, not caring if our friends are watching, not caring if the whole world was watching.

This was where I'm meant to be.

"Wow, hashtag relationship goals am I right?" Ace looks to Val.

"Yeah I know right, like bitch straight up forgave her for dicing him like an onion in like a second," Val adds, agreeing with him.

"You all need to stop using similes to describe how she cut me," Knox chuckles.

After we had made a few more jokes and talked over everything the doctor sent us out of the room so he could check up on Knox's condition.

An hour later and Dr Henderson walks out, heading towards me.

"He's doing fine, great actually for just having woken up," I sigh in relief.

"When can we take him home?" I ask impatiently.

Dr Henderson takes a moment to thing and check over his notes when he answers with, "he should be able to leave by tomorrow morning. Just because he's being a pain in the ass about leaving and has promised to go on bed rest for at least two days," the Dr pinches his nose and shakes his head as if in disappointment and then walks away with a small goodbye.

He can come home, but he has to be on bed rest. I bet that little bitch made that deal knowing he wasn't going to follow it, but jokes on him I'll make him do it. I smile smugly.

I walk into the room after waving goodbye to the twins and Val, they wanted to head back to their dorms after being at the hospital all day. I mean respectable, but I still can't seem to make myself leave.

"Well hello stranger," Knox greets as I take my seat in the blue love seat.

"Hello," I give him a smile.

"I'm Knox Romave, and you are?" He holds his hand out.

"Are we really doing this?" I raise my eyebrow.

"Yes, yes we are," I sigh, fine.

"Onyx Morana," I shake his hand.

"What is such a beautiful woman doing in a hospital, I hope you're not sick," he gasps.

"No I'm not," I can't help but let out a small giggle, "I'm here to visit this really handsome man whom I love very much, but I must of slipped with a kitchen knife because he end up wound in a coma for two weeks," I shrug.

"Oh that sounds tuff."

"Yeah.." I agree, although I know we're just playing around, I see real hurt in his eyes, so I change the subject. "What is such a handsome young man doing wasting his time in a hospital?"

"Oh you know, the usual. Turns out the girl I really love likes to take it a little too far with her knife kink and it landed me in a two week long coma."

"Hey! It's not a kink, it's a skill!" I shoot back.

"Mmhm," he nods his head slowly, "whatever you say."
