I woke up and I could feel Ponyboy's arms wrapped around me, just the way I remembered falling asleep. I kept my eyes closed, I heard people talking outside the room.

"I thought she was supposed to sleep on the floor," Darry muttered.

"Leave 'em be, Darry. They're cute!" Sodapop exclaimed.

I tried to stop my smile, but I blushed a little.

I heard Darry mumble something under his breath. "I think she's awake," he pointed out.

I couldn't help but smile. I giggled a little bit, quietly.

Sodapop laughed and I opened my eyes. Soda and Darry were standing at the door, Sodapop leaning against the door frame. I turned around to glance at Ponyboy, who was still asleep. I moved a bit, and Ponyboy shifted around a little. He pulled me in a little closer, hugging me tighter. I could tell he was starting to wake up. His eyes slowly drifted open, and he looked at me, blushing. He noticed Darry and Soda staring at him from the door frame, and immediately took his arm off of me. We all laughed, except Pony, who blushed and shoved his face into his pillow.

Darry sighed and shook his head a little. "Come on, Jennifer, I'll make you some breakfast. You too, Pony, if you take your face out of that pillow there."

I giggled and crawled out of bed. Ponyboy laughed, playfully and followed.

Darry made us some pancakes, and I sat next to Ponyboy.

Once we finished eating, I told Ponyboy that I should go. I changed and gave him his clothes back.

"Uh... well, thanks for hanging out with me. It was really fun," Ponyboy said.

We were standing in his room, a little awkwardly.

"It was fun," I agreed, smiling at him.

We blushed at each other and giggled.

"I should get home," I said, "I'll talk to you later today."

"Okay," he said, blushing at me.

"Well, I'll see you later," I told him, nervously.

"Bye," he said, smiling.

He leaned in and gave me a quick kiss on the cheek. I felt a tingling feeling go through my body when he kissed me. He rested his hands on my shoulder and leaned back. I blushed at him and smiled.

"Goodbye," I called, walking out of his room.

Ponyboy walked me out into the living room, still blushing. "Bye!" He called and stepped back into his room.

Sodapop was sitting on the couch with Steve and they were looking at me, weirdly.

"What did he do to make you look like that?" Sodapop asked, smirking.

"Nothing," I said, looking at the ground. I am a really bad liar, so I said it in a pretty suspicious tone. Even though it was just a little kiss on the cheek, it was a big deal to me.

"Ooooooh," Steve sang.

"Shut your trap, Steve!"

"What did he do? Your cheeks are 50 shades of red!" Sodapop exclaimed.

I looked down at my shoes. "It was nothing... he kissed me on the cheek," I admitted.

"Ooooooh!" Steve sang again.

I blushed and Soda joined Steve in oohing.

"Stop it!" I shouted, playfully.

"You shoulda seen them this mornin', they were cuddling in Pony's bed," Soda told Steve.
