Refresh.....

I got up, didn't feel like going to school tho. I went to the kitchen, my brother was sitting there.

"Good morning, our princess Louie" He said with a smile. I smiled back but didn't say anything. I get some food, and sit just across from him. Didn't feel like eating too. I just eat little by little.

"If you don't feel like going to school, then don't go." He said. I look at him and he was eating.

"I...I can" I said. Then he looked at me.

"You can, but you don't want to. You don't want to see him right? You're afraid." He said, it hit me

"You can take a rest today, prepare yourself for tomorrow. Hindi malabo na magkita kayo sa school. I'll just talk to Sean okay? Take a rest Louie. Prepare yourself." He said and stand up.

"I'll come back in 3 hours. If I knew that you went to school before I come back. I'll go to your school and take you home. No excuses." He said and go to the door.

"Don't ever think of going out. But if you want, wait for me then we'll go" He said and smile, then he left. I smiled at the thought that he was showing his caring side to me everytime I don't feel good. So lucky to have him.

After eating, I washed the dishes and lie down on the couch. I grab my phone and browse the internet. Then a message notification showed up.
It was from Sean.

"Hey couz. Kuya Andre told me that you're not going to school. I'll excuse you to the teachers and give you my notes. And, take a rest. We're here for you"

He said, and it made me smile.

"Yow couz. Thanks for that. So lucky to have you guys. Tell them I'll be at the school tomorrow. Have a great day my cousin"

I said and stare at the ceiling.

"I should take a rest. I need to forget about that and......life will go on." I stand up and went inside the room where I keep all of my collections and arts. I sit at the chair where I always do my drawings and paintings..

"Maybe I should do my hobby while I have time" I said and grab a pen. I think about what to draw...and there's one thing that comes to mind. I start to sketch......I finished sketching in just 30 minutes, my hands are moving wihtout me noticing, I continue to draw and decided to finish this today.
And.............I finished it.. I placed it at an empty space...

"Louie?" My brother opened the door. Looks like he's looking for me. I smiled at him.

"Hmm, it looks like your mood has change." He said. Then he saw my drawing..

"Did you think of me and your friends before you make that?" He said.

"Yup. Cause, you guys are ready to comfort me and make me feel better kahit na wala pa namang nangyayare na...sobrang sakit. And, kayo ung unang pumasok sa isip ko" I said and smile.

"Well, its good tho. So don't ever be afraid of getting hurt by Zayne. We're here for you, tho...it will be hard for you." He said.

"So, you want to go out?" He said and I nod excitedly.

"I'll wait at the kitchen" He said and went downstairs. I quickly took a bath and wear comfortable clothes, jeans, T-shirt, cap and grab my sneakers. Then I go down and runs to my brother.

"Let's go" I said and runs to his car.

"So excited?" He said as he went inside the car. We left the subdivision and he continue to drive and its been 20 minutes now since we left.

"Where are we going?" I ask, but he didn't answer. I shrugged it off and just look outside. The road are not familiar to me and we are almost at the city where tall buildings are. I wonder where will we go.

And it's been an hour and a half now since we left the subdivision, and we're near the suburban neighborhood.

3 hours since we left, we're at a small city, it was...far from where I am living. It was a....simple city. And it was near the mountains. Kuya then parked at an empty space. It looks like a bay since it has a sea and rocks.

"Where are we?" I ask and went outside.

"I always go here when I am sad or not in the mood to work. It brings up my mood, it empties my mind. Maybe you too. That's why I brought you here." He said, then we sit on the rocks and watch the waves crashed to the rocks below.

"How did you know this place?" I ask.

"I lived here for a few months, this is where I went when I runaway from home" He said and he looked at me.

"You can cry if you want. You can say all your feelings, that keeps you away from being happy. Or just...stare at the sea and empty your mind." He said and smile. I looked at the sea.....it was..refreshing, the wind touches my face, it feels like...it was telling me that it's okay... It relaxes me.

"What kind of place would you want to live?" Kuya ask suddenly.

"Uhmm, a place where I can relax, a place somewhere peaceful. Where I can't feel the pain, worries. And a place where I can see many beautiful sceneries." I said. He smiled. Why does he ask me tho

"Why?" I asked.

"Nothing. Just wanna know your preference" He said. He then smiled meaningfully, and I did not care about what he meant by that, I just want to refresh..

"Would you like to eat? Its already pass 1 o'clock. And we haven't eaten yet" He said and stand up.

"I know a place nearby, they have good foods. You'll like them" He said and smile. So we go back to the car and he drives to that place. It was a simple eatery but there are many people eating. I followed Kuya and he ordered foods, then we went to look for a vacant table. Lucky we found one.

"Did you bring your phone?" He asks.

"Yes. But I turned it off" I said..and then, our food arrives. He ordered bicol express and kaldereta for me.
I tried it and......it was delicious!

"I told you, you'll like the food" He said and smile. Well, I've finished the food for just a short time. And we left the place and went inside the car.

"Want some ice cream?" He asked.

"It's not from ice cream store tho. Just an ordinary ice cream."

"Its okay." I said. Then he parked in front of a convenient store. He told me to just stay at the car and wait. It really looks peaceful here.

After a few minutes, he came back with ice creams and lots of snacks.

"Bakit ang dami?" I said and get some.

"Baka magutom ka eh, matagal tagal ung biyahe." He said and start to drive. Then he stop at a parking lot.

"Tara, dun muna tayo" He said and points to the gazebo near the sea. It was different from earlier. Just a few people walking and sitting at the benches.

We just sat there and stare at the sea, emptying our minds and just relaxing.
I know he wants me to refresh and make myself ready, if I ever meet Zayne tomorrow, tho it will likely be.

We stayed here for several minutes.

"Shall we go now? It's just 4pm tho" He said.

"Tara na. May work ka pa bukas eh." I said and stand up..

"Kung gusto mo pang magstay, okay lang naman. Family comes first tho" He said. I looked at him..

"I am so lucky to be your sister, Kuya. You always put me first before you" I said.

"It's my responsibility as your brother. So should we stay here after the sun sets?" He said. I nod and smile happily.

"I guess I'm ready to face Zayne tomorrow. I just hope I won't tear up when I remember what I saw yesterday. I hope"
