The fiancée

Few days had passed, and Zayne was still giving me gifts and letters. I don't know why he wants to continue even when his fiancee was here. He even asked me to let him take me home after classes, and I did not let him.

And I admit, some part of me don't want him to stop, but there's still something that wants him to focus on his fiancee and stop everything he's doing for me. And to be honest, I don't know what to do!!

Since today is Thursday, I decided to take a walk on the park. There's a few children playing and running at the grasses, I was looking at them so I didn't see someone in front..

"Aww" She fell down and her things were scattered. I pick her things and give it to her, then I helped her stand up and sit on the nearby bench.

"Sorry, I didn't know there was a person in front of me. Are you okay?" I said and was really worried that I hurt her. Then she looked at me....I got really shocked. Nervousness fill my body.

"Ah no, it's okay. Ako din naman. You look familiar" She said and look at my face. I think of a reason to come up and showed her a smile

"I always go here so maybe you saw my face. You look familiar too" I said and smile

"I saw you infront of our school. Maybe you're waiting for someone there" I said again.

"Thompson Academy? Yup. My fiance was studying there. Maybe you know him, his name is Zayne" She said and smile. I was hurt as she says his name.
I was talking to Zayne's fiance

"Ah, yes, I know him. But he's not my classmate" I said and stare at the ground

"Well, glad to met someone who knew him. He didn't let me talk to his friends and that he don't really have friends. And waiting for him after his classes, he actually don't want that, but I insist. I'm glad that he actually didn't ignore me when I do that" She said. I was feeling a little guilty, I didn't know what she's actually feeling.

"What is he towards you? I mean, is he showing you that he loves you?" I asked, I was curious, Zayne was like that to me and I didn't know if he was like that to his fiancee too.

"Well, he often acts cold to me. He would just stay quiet while he's with me. But sometimes, he was acting like he cares for me. But to be honest, I feel like Zayne has someone he likes, even before we ended up being arranged, Zayne was opposed to this, he don't want to be arranged with me. And he actually has a picture of a girl in his drawer. But, I didn't dare to look at it. I'm afraid he would be mad at me and I don't want that." She said. I felt really guilty, his fiancee was sad and was hurting because he's focusing on something else and I was a part of that.

And a picture? Why would he keep a picture of mine?

"Uhmm, do you love him ?" I asked. I want to know, maybe I get to decide what should I really do, and what's best for all of us.

"Yup. But loving him hurts me so much, I always show him how much I l love him but......I am afraid that Zayne will leave me. I was scared just by the thought of that." She said. She actually looks sad, I can see that she loves him..so much.

I felt really guilty, Zayne was showing me his love but....he can't to his own fiancee. I was mad at myself, I was enjoying my time with Zayne, not knowing that I was the reason why his fiancee was hurting and was trying so hard just to get his attention.

I smiled and took a deep breath.

"If you're worried that he might leave you, don't worry, he won't. There might be some conflicts or problems that will arise, but it will go away and everything will fall in the right places and in the right time. He will marry you." I said, but that last sentence hit me hard. He will marry her
