=============|Love Song|=============

Semi POV

"2 months. It's been 2 months since I asked you to write that damn song and you've come up with nothing."

"Sorry, Kenjiro, it's just I haven't-"

"No. None of that. Write that goddamn love song."

Shirabu had been asking me to write him a love song for 2 months. We've been dating for 3 months. It's too early to even tell if I want to be with him for the rest of my life.

And he wants me to write him a love song?

I mean, sure, I'm a singer/songwriter. I can do it if I tried.

I've made countless attempts and none of them sparked any emotion.

Is this worth it?

"Please, Eita, I want this. I know you want this. Right?"

I'm not sure about that.

"I guess.."

= = = =

I sat in my room at night, staring at the blank sheet of paper. I try to think of any emotions to portray. I think of Kenjiro. What am I supposed to write?

That time we went to the park? No, that was pretty uneventful.

Our first kiss? Way too cliché.

Traditional love song? No, that's not like me.

The door slammed open. "Eita."

I jumped and faced my boyfriend, smiling. "Hey, what's up?"

"I decided. If you don't write that damn love song soon, I'm leaving you."

"Leaving me?!"

"Yeah, so you better write it. I'm done with your shit, finish it soon." The door slammed closed again, and I sighed. What the fuck?

I tapped my pencil on the table.

A love song.. the ultimate way for a musician to show their love and affection to another. You'd only write it for people you truly love and admire.

Do I feel that for Shirabu?

I huffed and scratched my head. Does he even want this because he loves me? Does he want it because of the recognition?

Do I really want this?

The pencil flew across the paper, scratching words onto the lines. I'm done in 2 hours, and I read over the lyrics with pride.

Alright, I'm doing this.

I'm doing this for Shirabu.
