RURU's POV

Almiona's been quiet for 5 minutes already after she screamed, shouted, and got mad at me. She's still sitting on the floor with dried tears on her face. She looks extremely hopeless. Like she has lost everything she has and that there's no point of living.

She took out her phone then placed it on her ear. She's calling, perhaps Seven. After a few tries, she got no response. She pressed her phone onto the floor. Slowly, she got up then went straight outside.

Wala akong magawa kundi sundan siya.

She just keeps on walking ang walking. And I guess she's not minding anything 'cause she was about to stumble due to a rock on the ground. What I can only do now is clear her way and follow her slowly.

One time, a dog came barking at her but she doesn't care. It then agressively ran towards her so I made the dog stop. I looked at my watch and it's already 1:00 in the morning. The neighborhood is obviously still.

Pagod na din ako dahil sa lahat ng ginawa ko buong maghapon but I can't let this lady walk alone, especially in darkness. The guilt will kill me. It's actually killing me now. If I hadn't... if I hadn't, she would have been much okay than now.

Huminto siya sa tapat ng isang children's park habang nakatingin lang sa kabuuan nito. I don't know kung alam niyang sinusundan ko siya o pansin man lang niyang nakatingin lang ako sa kanya ngayon. Umihip ang hangin at malumanay na inihangin ang buhok niyang humaharang sa kanyang mukha. Napakaganda.

Natawa ako dahil sa naisip kaya inalis ko ang tingin. How can I think of such things at this moment?

Naalis ang ngiti ko ng makita ko ang isang lalaking naka mask di kalayuan na nakatingin kay Almiona.

I immediately called Lui using my watch. 

*beep*

"Lui, take Almiona now."

*beep*

Lahat kaming ranks ay may ganitong relo for emergency purposes. When we send a message, malalaman agad ito ng receiver dahil tutunog ang kanyang watch at encoded na rin ang location ng sender saan man siya.

Dali-dali akong tumakbo papalapit sa lalaki, mabilis din itong tumakbo ng makita ako.

"Nuts!" Ang bilis niyang tumakbo.

But I was able to catch him. Itinulak niya ako then used his power but I managed to avoid it. That was strong. He's in no doubt a high! Tumakbo ulit siya paalis.

I used my ability to try to stop him. Natamaan ang kanyang kanang binti kaya bumagsak siya sa lupa pero mabilis siyang nakarecover. Siya naman ang nagpatama ng sunod-sunod sa akin tapos tumakbo ulit.  He entered a forest pero sumunod pa rin ako.

This is too dark!

I gave it my best shot to really hit him. I succeeded. Mabilis ko siyang hinawakan. "Who are you?"

Tatanggalin ko na sana ang mask niya nang may tamaan ako ng isang energy mula sa isa pang whim. I got thrown 10 meters away. Tinulungan niya yung lalaking makatayo saka sila mabilis na umalis.

Nasuntok ko ang lupa dahil sa inis. They're powerful.

Bumalik ako sa bahay nila Almiona para balikan ang kotse at makauwi na pero wala na ang kotse. Napapikit ako. Don't tell me you use it Lui! Humanda ka!

Napabuga ako sa hangin. I'm so tired. It's nearly 2 am. I still have class later and all those rank duties.

*beep*

"I need my car."

*beep*

Umupo ako sa gilid ng kalsada. I waited for an hour pero walang dumating. Wala ding sumagot. This is nuts. Shall I sleep here? I'm too tired to walk and use my energy. I'm drained. "Haah!"

Pagdating ko sa HT 4:30 na. Sumalubong si Lui sa akin at agad na nag-init ang dugo ko kaya huminga ako ng malalim dahil baka kung anong magawa ko sa kanya.

"Ruru, andiyan ka na pala. What happened to you? You look greatly exhausted."

Greatly exhausted? Ofcourse! You drove my car away! You dumb!

Isa-isang nagsilabasan sila Harley, Lora at Shin.

"Oh my gosh, Ruru! Napaaway ka ba?"

Their reactions are making me angrier. But I stiol refused to shout.

"I contacted you all." Malumanay na sabi ko.

"You did?" tanong ni Shin. "I'm sorry, I misplaced my watch."

I looked at Lora. "I lost mine last month."

Then at Harley. "It's broken" kibit balikat niya.

I looked at Lui and saw his watch sa kamay niya. I gave him a questionong look. "I-I am sorry, Ruru. Hindi ko na napansin, binantayan ko kasi si---"

Tumalikod ako at nagpunta na sa kuwarto ko. Ts.

"I'm really sorry Ruru." Pahabol na sigaw pa ni Lui.

I only have few hours to sleep. This isn't getting any better.

At breakfast, everyone was silent. No one talked until everyone has finished eating.

"I'm really sorry about what happened earlier Ruru."

"Why did you use my car?" I asked. It's impossible for him to walk from here to there. He mus have drove a car to pick Almiona up. So why use my car? I wouldn't want to hear "bar".

"When you sent the message, I was in a bar nearby so I just ran to get Almiona." Nuts. I hate this guy. Sa dami ng trabaho namin, nakukuha pa ring uminom! "I'm sorry. I really am."

"Almiona?" tanong ni Lora.

She still doesn't know a thing.

"She's staying here." Lui answered.

Nagtaka si Lora.

"Yes, Zalora, that conceited bestfriend of yours will live here from now on until  we get all things sorted out!" Harley said.

Why is Harley constantly infuriated with Almiona?

"What do you mean?" Lora asked then Harley narrated everything to her.

Lora is left in shock. She couldn't believe her ears. Her face is full of distinct reactions and that is very difficult to comprehend.

I suddenly remembered the man I encountered. Those eyes... looks just like Almiona's.
