Chapter 9

When I wake I hear Dalton talking. I sit up to see what he was doing, he was standing in the door way on the phone with some one "Hey, who are you talking to?" I ask and he doesn't answer....moments later I have gotten got changed, put in my piercings, and did my hair and make-up "That was my mom" Dalton says walking into the bathroom while I was brushing my teeth "Did you tell her where we were?" I ask "No I just told her we were somewhere safe and we have everything under control" he says "So has she spoken to my parents?" I ask "Yea and your dad is accusing me and kidnapping you" he says "You didn't technically I kidnapped you" I say "No you didn't, who was the one driving the car" he says "You were but I ran away, we were in my car, we drove to my aunts house" I say "You do have a point. But my step-dad believes your dad and he told my mom that if he ever found us he would has me arrested" Dalton tells me "Why does your step-dad have something against you?" I ask "Yep, I don't know why he's just always hated me but he loves my little sister" he says "Oh but your dad still likes you right?" I ask "Yea mom got into a divorce with him when I was 2 cause he was always gone but it wasn't his fault, his boss always wanted him to stay and work late and he was always tired when he got home and when he didn't have to work he took me out to the park and my mom stayed home and then my mom stared to think that he didn't have time for her but she always wanted to stay home when me and my dad went out its more like she wanted to hang out with us but she didn't want to if that makes since" he says "Yea it does actually" I say and we walk downstairs to breakfast "So are you looking forward to tomorrow?" I ask Dalton "Totally and that thing we were going to do last night is going to have to wait till tomorrow" Dalton says "Seriously" I say "What are you going even talking about?" Leigh asks "Nothing just some super cool science projects we are going to do tomorrow" Dalton says "What are you guys going to do in there?" Leigh asks "We are going to put different fireworks in watermelons to see which firework makes the biggest explosion" I say "That's cool" Leigh says as she walks to the living room "We better get going to school" I say then we walk out to Dalton's hummer

After we arrived at school before we knew it it was time for lunch "So are you guys going to drop out tomorrow with us?" Dalton asked the others and most of them agreed except for Scarlet "I don't want to disappoint my grandparents I want to get a good job so I can help pay their bills and their food cause they are both retired and they are in a really bad place right now" Scarlet tells us "Its ok we understand" I say "So after school tomorrow are we going to party or what"Tate asks "You guys can but I'm taking my girly out tomorrow" Dalton says "That's so cute"Roxy says "That's my boyfriend Ry over there he doesn't like to be seen with me" she adds pointed to the guy that I sit next to in 3rd period "He's your boyfriend" I say "Yea I wish he would talk to me instead of texting me" she says "You should go talk to him" I say and everyone else nods their heads in agreement "Ok i'll be right back" she says walking over to him "I wonder whats going to happen" Dalton says "I don't know but Ry likes to show off in front of his friends" Cole says and then Ry stands up and all we hear is him scream "GO AWAY!!!" then the lunch room was silent, as Roxy walks back over to her seat across from me Ry stares at her "What happened" I ask "He told me to go away and not to say a word then I said why you don't want me to be your girlfriend anymore and then he screamed go away so I did" Roxy says "You should break up with him you deserve so much better than him" I say "But he is the most popular guy in school" Scarlet says "Yea and why would the most popular guy school ask out someone like me and we have been together for over a year now" Roxy says "So does that really matter" I ask "Not really" Roxy says "Then dump him" I say "You know what your right" Roxy says "In 4th period i'm going to dump him" Roxy says

Roxy's POV

As I walk up the hall back to 3rd period to get my stuff Tera the most popular girl in school pushes my up against the wall "Hey Edward scissor hands" she says "What do you want Tera?" I ask "Oh just for you to stop trying to get all over Ry" she says "Why its not like your dating him" I say "Honey that's where you are wrong I'm going to be as soon as I ask him out later after school" she says "Yea right" I say and she pushes me up against the wall once more but this time I hit my head and I fall straight to the ground feeling like I can't move Cellen,Dalton,Scarlet,Tate,and Cole are probably all ready in 4th period, I stare at the lunch room door hoping one of them might come out but instead Ry comes out "ROXY HAPPENED?" he says rushing over to me "Tera" I say slowly then he sits me up against the wall "What did she do?" he asks "She wants me to stay away from you" I tell him "Are you ok?"he asks and I getting to my feet "Yea i'm just a little dizzy right now" I say pressing the palm of my hand on my forehead "I'm glad your ok now" Ry says and I nod my head "Listen I'm sorry from what happened in the lunchroom I don't know what happened" he says and there was a breef pause "But it'll never happen again I promise" he finishes then he kisses my forehead "Can I ask you something?" I ask "Yea" he says "Do you really like me, I know its a stupid question but how come a guy like you ask out a girl like me?" I ask "I like you a lot and sometimes I ask my self the same question why would a pretty girl like you date a guy like me" Ry says and I smile Ry kisses my cheek and we go to 4th period
