Chapter 3

When I woke up I went to the bathroom to fix my hair then I went to the kitchen to eat breakfast with my mom, dad, Jake and Emily "Good morning everybody" I say "Good morning" my mom says "Hey can you take me to school today?" Emily asked "Sure why not" I say "Alright lets go" my sister said jumping up "What your excited to go to school?" I ask "Yea what you don't?" She asked "Nope" I say "Why?" she asked "Just cause" I say "Ok then lets go" she said and we walked out the door and I saw Dalton standing next to my car "Hey can I catch ride" he asked "Yea sure but we have to drop off my sister" I say "OK that's fine with me" he says and we get in my car

After we drop off Emily we went to school "So this is where i'm going to be stuck for the next 7 months" Dalton said as we walked inside "Afraid so"I say and we walk down the hallway to see Cherry talking to a group of other popular guys "So how are we going to get her to go to the gym" one of the guys ask "Don't worry about that i've got that part figured out" Cherry said and we walk over to them and they stop talking and everyone leaves except for Cherry "Wow that was weird" I say "Yep" Cherry says "What were you guys talking about" I ask "Nothing just some stuff for the pep rally later this afternoon"Cherry says "Oh"I say "So I see you have little dark kid following you around like a little puppy"she says and Dalton walks off "Cherry that wasn't nice"I scold her "It's true though" she says "I don't care if it's true or not it still wasn't nice" I say to her "Oh well I better get going I have to help set up for the pep rally" she says then walks off and I start looking for Dalton but I can't find him tell I turn a corn and I see him leaned up against the wall staring out the window "Hey" I say to him "Hey" he says then he turns around to face me "What happened?" I ask "Nothing i'm just tired of being called the dark boy or emo guy and that kind of stuff" he says " Is that what happened at your other school?" I ask "Yea that's why we moved here" he says "Oh" I say "Yea" he says "Let's get going to class" I say and we walk to Dalton's first class "Ok after this go straight across the hall and I will be in all your other classes" I tell him "Thanks" he says and we start walking to our classes

Dalton's POV

When I walk into the room I find somewhere to sit but what I didn't realize is who I was sitting by, I look to my left and there she was the devil herself Cherry "Oh hey I didn't see you sitting there" she said and I look down at my desk trying to avoid eye contact "So are you going to the pep rally or are you going to ditch school before then?" Cherry asked "I'm going and just I wear clothes like this or do my hair like this doesn't mean i'm that type of person" I tell her "Sure and I bet the only reason you even came to school today was cause Cellen" Cherry says "No it's cause it's my first day" I tell her "Don't play dumb I know you like her" she says "I do not"I say "Don't lie I see how you look at her" she says and I start to get mad then the teacher walks in, finally

Cellen's POV

After class was over the first 2 classes were over and the 3rd one just finished me and Dalton walk down to lunch, when we sit down Cherry leaves the table to sit with other popular kids that I can't stand "So I've been meaning to ask you how was your first class?" I ask Dalton "I hate it" he said "Why?" I ask "Cause Cherry is in there" he says "Oh yea I forgot you don't like Cherry" I say "Yea" he says, then our teacher comes in the door "IF YOU ARE IN MY CLASS RIGHT NOW GO TO THE GYM" Mr.Smith yelled and we get up "What are we doing" I ask my friend Scarlett "We are going to the pep rally" she says "Oh ok" I say and she walks back to her group of friends "We are not going to that pep rally" I tell Dalton "Then what are we supposed to do" he asks "I normally just hide in the library" I say "Good idea nobody would look in the library its to obvious" he said and we walk down the hall till we are stopped by Cherry "Hey you can't hide in the library people have found out that you have been going there during pep rallies" she tells us "OK then where are we supposed to go" I ask "Follow me" she says and we walk into a room next to the supply closet "Just stay here till the pep rally is over" she says then leaves then we find some chair and we open then up so we will have somewhere to sit, After Cherry left it had been about 30 minutes till she came back "Hey Dalton Mr. Smith is looking for you"she says then Dalton looks down at me "Go it's fine" I say and he leaves with Cherry
