Chapter 18

Dalton's POV

I sit there staring at Cellen asleep in the hospital bed, we were just here 2 days ago and I didn't think we would ever have to come back here, I hate the smell of a hospital it smells like soap,rubber,and hair spray its awful. I take out my phone and I scroll through instagram, its been awhile since I've been on my phone when i'm not texting someone, the first I see is Roxy dancing at the party last night with a group of guys, I scroll down some more and I saw more and more pictures of people at the party, I decide to text Cole cause he's usually up earlier and I've been up all night cause I've been to worried to go to sleep,

*Hey Cole r u up??"

*Yea just got up y?*

*I just felt like texting someone*

*Oh r u still worried about Cellen?*

*Yea*

*I'll b there soon*

Great I didn't really want him to come here, I just needed someone to talk too I'm actually really scared I never wanted this to happen, I never thought she would do this to herself and it's all my fault, why does it have to be her, it should be me laying there not her she doesn't deserve this.

I sit there alone next to her and all I hear is her heavy breathing, its about to put me to sleep but I have to stay awake in case she wakes up. About half an hour later Cole comes in and sits on the other side of the bed "So how is she?"is the first thing he asks as he walks in the door "I don't the doctors haven't told me anything"I tell him "She's pale"he says "You should have seen her last night, she looked almost dead"I say "Dude, listen I'm sorry that all of this is happening, I know how much she means to you"he says "Yea I've already lost someone important to me once and I'm not going to let that happen again"I tell him "Have you notice that after you and Lacey broke she killed herself and after Cellen broke up with she did this"he says "Yea I have, and I've also realized that that both of them did this cause of me"I say "But Cellen loves what has happened to her probably not this part but everything else"he says "I'm starting to think that if I just disappeared and left everyone alone then nothing would go wrong and everyone would be happy"I say "Dalton your forgetting something"he says and I look at him with a confused look "Look down at the bed you are her everything, when you left she smiled but it wasn't a real smile but when she was with you her smile changed and it was real and no matter what you said she always smiled bigger every time"he says and I look at Cellen "I'm gonna go look for a doctor, I need answers"I say and I walk out of the room and I go to the desk "How can I help you?"a man asked "I need to know why I haven't heard anything back from the doctor"I say, I don't know what else to say I doubt he knows anything about Cellen "What room is the patience in?"he asked "117"I tell him "Okay the doctor is trying to contact some of her family members so he can tell them about counseling"he says "No tell him not to do that"I say "Why not?"he asked "Cause, just tell him not to"I say "We have to"he says "No you can't"I say "Give me a good reason"he says "Cause her dad beat her and we left both of our families behind just so her dad would stop hurting her"I tell him "I'm sorry sir but we have to"he says "Please"I say "Sorry sir but we have now can you please leave"he says "Just don't call her dad or her house phone, call her aunt"I say "Sir' please leave"he says and I grunt then I walk back into Cellen's room and Cole was looking at Cellen and then his phone went off and he looked at it "Who is it?"I ask "Joe"he says "What does she want?"I ask "She was asking where I was"he said "Are you going to tell her?"I ask "No"he says "Good cause I don't think I can handle a headache"I say "Well anyways I'm gonna go"he says and I nod then he puts on his jacket and left

After 3 hours of just sitting here without anyone to talk to, without anything to eat, and no word from the doctor I continue to sit there till there was a knock on the door and before I could look to see who it was the door opened and the guy that was at the desk walks in "Okay you said to call her aunt right?"he asked "I don't want you to call anyone but since you have to then yea her aunt, just anyone but her dad"I say "Okay well we will call her and if she doesn't answer then who do we call?"he asked "Well she doesn't answer then her mom will answer"I say "Wait what i'm so confused"he says "Her mom has been staying with her aunt for the last couple of weeks"I tell him "Okay then I will just ask who I'm talking to and they say-"then he stopped "If they say Amy it's her mom and Ally is her aunt"I tell him "Alright"he says and he leaves then i'm left in the room alone and hungry again. I take out my phone and I look at my pictures, that's what I use to do when I was bored which was all the time.
