Kamala Khan POV:
So... stuff happened, well. Riri went missing for about a week. Then this stuff was realised, let me sum it up for you. Riri goes missing, doesn't answer our text and I went to you to see if she is fine and there was nothing, actually no one. It seemed rather empty. Then the next day, C.R.A.D.L.E. announced that Riri Williams aka IronHeart had decided to join the C.R.A.D.L.E rehab thing.
She said something that she one hundred percent wouldn't say normally. To be fair I think this has mind melding written all over it. But the big thing is, Riri with C.R.A.D.L.E.
Main goal, find where there keeping everyone, two beat up C.R.A.D.L.E. and three, reveal C.R.A.D.L.E. 's real intentions.
So far we have a big fat stack of practically nothing. That's actually what I'm trying to get information on right now.
"Hi, um... I'm here to see.. Um Scott." I ask the lady. I'm currently supposed to meet Scott at some cafe.
"Hey, Kamala." Scott waves from a seat towards the back of the cafe. If you don't know him, first what is wrong with you. He's the X-men leader, was an evil mutant dictator, also died and came back as a teen. (Don't ask how it happened) He joined the Champions and then went back to the past and changed his future. (Time travel sucks)
"Hi Scott. How are you, how's Krakoa?"
"Eh, I mean it's just more political stuff. Anyways, why did you want to meet? You said something about a person you need info on." Scott questions.
"I need to see something, do you know about Terra Delgado?"
"Just name wise, nothing. Should I know her?"
"It's just she is in charge of C.R.A.D.L.E. and she has mind powers, what type I don't but I know she is very evil. I also can't find anything on her. It's like she didn't exist. The people we thought were her family don't know anything about her. Thought she might have been a mutant. Do you guys have a record of mutants and stuff."
"Ok, first slow down, second, we are a little preoccupied so we might not be able to find your mystery person. But we do keep records of students in the old X-manor. I mean we moved the school to Krakoa so your best bet is to go to the old one. Sorry I can't help you more. What if she is an Inhuman, that's pretty likely."
"Well thanks for your help. I should get going before the press catches me talking to you."
"Well the irony of you being the face of something you're against, can say I've been there. Anyways, I hope your search for a mystery person goes well. Tell the others I say hi." Scott says and hugs me as I leave.
"Yeah, I hope so too." I remark.
So let me spare you the details of going to the X-manor or school. Got there, it was really empty and files, still there. I went through them and let's just say the stuff that remained wasn't exactly the happiest of files.
"Holy crap," I say. The files are all of kids who didn't make it or had powers that hurt themselves. It wasn't like a couple of files, it was quite a few. More than one would expect for a school with superheroes as teachers. "All these kids."
I mean I understand what they're getting at. When the school was still here they were always attacked by Magnito and Anti-mutant extremists and other things. I definitely couldn't sit here in this creepy mansion to read about kids who may have died. I collect all of the files and leave the mansion, lets just say that my dream to go to the x-school might have been put off for the better.
I'm so sorry for not posting. School in-person means no longer writing instead of working. So the updates might have more time between each one. We are also almost done, I think... Also I don't really read anything with X-men. (Their politics kinda bore me. If anyone has suggestions I'm willing to read it.) So if my depiction of Scott sucks, I'm terrible sorry I have only read the Champions and thats teen Scott so if adult Scott is different again sorry.
Well thank you for reading, hoped you like it, bye -Aura
