Hi, future me here. I kind of screwed up the whole plot line with this chapter so like it doesn't count. I like can barely write these last two chapters but I just want to finish it. Sorry again.

Miles POV

Thankfully the events from last night were not on the news and we were finally gonna be able to leak the information on Roxxon, have them exposed and no more Kamala's Law. Everything can go back as it was. I definitely need more normal. And being Spider-man gave my life a sort of spice it needs, plus I really do want to go to space again. (Who wouldn't.)

Kamala was incharge of giving the flash drive to Ms. CRADLE lady. The spare is in my pocket as I head to my room.

"Miles," my dad says, putting a hand on my shoulder. "We need to talk." Oh God, what did I do? Well, a more accurate question is what didn't I do.

I see my mom too is standing next to the kitchen door with both of them having equally concerned faces. "Is something wrong?" I ask.

"Miles, you know we love and support your superheroing stuff but with the CRADLE thing... it's made it complicated." She says. "It's just that..."

"My department got new orders from the state. Any teen heroes are to be shoot on sight. I just don't want me and my team having to shoot at you and your hero friends." My father can be a no nonsense kind of guy but he's crying at the thought of shooting me. This is very bad on so many levels. "It just got a lot more serious ok.So this isn't the time to defy us and go play hero ok. This isn't stuff you can punch your way out of Miles. That goes for your friends too." He then sighs. "But knowing you all you most likely have some sort of plan up your sleeve to, I don't know get Captain American to give a speech and then no more law."

"Mi hijo, we care about you and as such don't want you involved in this thing. Don't you remember the last time something as divisive came out and the whole Civil War thing happened. I don't want you caught in the crossfire." My mom says looking somber.

"What we are saying is don't do anything stupid."

"How about this, I promise to not be Spiderman till this whole thing blows over. I mean just how many heroes there are in New York. I'm sure someone will take care of it." I say trying to sound hopeful and determined knowing full and well that promise would be broken in a few days times.

"Miles make sure to keep that." My mom says as she disappears into the kitchen. Maybe she is a telepath. I think.

"I got homework so I'll be upstairs doing it." I say.

"You better be." My dad calls after as he heads towards the kitchen and I head upstairs.

I quickly open the door and plug in the flash drive to the computer letting it load while googling for any trace of our break in last night. Still nothing which is fantastic.

I open the files on the flashdrive and feel the sort of dread that is just. Four freaking minutes or scrolling till I reach the bottom. This is going to be a while.

After compiling and sorting everything into useless, evil stuff and ???. I truly am a professional. Then my phone buzzes.

GumGirl: We have a problem.

BucketHead: Good, bad, a punching stuff problem?

GumGirl: Just bad...

ScaredofSpiders: Well what's happening?

GumGirl: It's CRADLE lady director, she is holding a press conference that's starting in a bit.

GumGirl: I think it will have something to do with the whole Roxxon info we gave her.

ScaredofSpiders: Just went through it all and there is quite a bit of bad stuff that we could use to expose them but it just isn't solid enough to get the law repealed.

BucketHead: Do you guys want me to crash the conference and like suckerpunch her in the face.

GumGirl &ScaredofSpiders: NO.

GumGirl: There are too many factors and the thought of use showing up could only prove her point that CRADLE needs to exist.

ScaredofSpiders: I'll watch it too. See if anything important is spilled or maybe also post all the flashdrive info for everyone to see. Could help our case.

GumGirl: Keep that on stand by incase anything wrong happens cause it could definitely overshadow the press conference on just how interesting it is for the press.

BucketHead: OK so you guys will watch the live stream or whatever and I don't punch her. So will you guys keep me posted on what's happening? Flying and cell service never mixed.

ScaredofSpiders: Sure. Don't tell me though that you're bored or something.

GumGirl: I feel like something big is going to happen and it can't just be me.

ScaredofSpiders: Let's just hope not.

Hello everybody. How are you doing?
Your looking amazing to day, and no this isn't to distract you from the fact it's been way over a month since the last chapter. I don't know what your talking about.

So real talk, this has been kind of a slog lately and I had planned for the New Warriors to show up but since they never published that dumsterfire I have no idea what the teams motives and beliefs on what their doing plus like most of them were dead so yeah.

I'm just kind of cutting them out since nothing on them is really that important. So yeah. Expect a chapter coming out kinda soon as soon as I find my paper with the plot line in my mess of a desk.

And as always hope you have an amazing day and I'll definitely see you soon. -Aura
