"jealous"
blaise's pov
the dungeons were colder than usual this morning, but the sun made it seem warmer than ever. pulling the emerald green curtains back on my four poster, i stepped out of bed and made my way to the bathroom. opening the door, i reached up and grabbed a towel, and began to let the water run until the temperature started to rise. stepping into the shower, i let the steaming hot water hit my skin, allowing me to escape my reality for just a few minutes.
closing my eyes, i was shocked to see her just standing there. why was she here, what did she want? to be honest, part of that didn't matter as i began to admire her, just standing there looking perfect, so perfect that she was untouchable. there she was; her honey golden skin, her long black curls, she stood in nothing but my white button up shirt from that night, smiling like nothing else in the world mattered in that moment. the sun was beaming down on her, leaving her to give off a radiant glow.
no, i couldn't do this. i couldn't think about her like this, it just wasn't right. i'm not supposed to like her, i hated her. i hated hearing how happy she got for dinner, letting out a little squeal when she finally got to eat. how she skipped down the corridor when she headed to the library; leaving her curls to bounce when she jumped in excitement, the giggles that escaped her throat. she was everywhere, and i couldn't get rid of her. i just needed to get her out of my head.
stepping out of the shower, i wrapped the towel around my waist and walked out of the bathroom; draco was already up, and it looked like he was waiting for me to get out. "good morning," i said, walking over to my trunk.
"morning" he replied , stretching and yawning as he stood up from his bed.
"after i get dressed, i'm going to make a quick stop to get breakfast to get something, do you want me to bring you anything back?" i asked, slipping the plain t-shirt over my head.
"um- just a croissant would be fine, thanks" he thanked, a small smile presenting itself, as he walked over to the bathroom.
fifteen minutes later, i finished getting dressed, and grabbed my quidditch jersey before saying my see you laters to draco who'd finished his shower. "i'll be back in a few. don't miss me too much." i laughed before walking out the room, and shutting the door behind me.
not even seconds after i shut the door, a loud crack came from inside the room. before i could open the door, i heard a female's voice; it was her. why was she there? was she actually in my mind? was she looking for me?
i pulled myself from my thoughts, listening in on the conversation.
"what the hell?!" draco stuttered.
i smirked, chuckling because she definitely knew how to make an entrance.
her next words, wiped the smile right off my face. "good morning to you, too handsome." i didn't even have to be inside or see her to know that she probably had a smug smirk on her face. i couldn't listen anymore. i left for the great hall, not even bothering to bring him anything back.
arriving to the hall, i sat down and began to place food on my plate; none of my friends were there, so i tried to stay for as little as possible; but i couldn't stop thinking about what i had just heard. i was pissed; the image of her smiling and joking with him running through my mind, only pissing me off more. were they together? or were they just hooking up? if they were, why didn't he just tell me?
