Stolen hearts

Chapter six

Over the next few days I wouldn't see any one besides my physical theripist. And she just stayed long enough to loosen my limbs. My guys from the soccer team stopped by, but I told the nurses I didn't want to see any one. I wouldn't even look at Cody.

I just felt so guilty. Having to live with the thought that I killed my mother! Everyone tells me to be happy. What is there to be happy about! I killed my mother. I can't move and I don't rember what the last thing I told her before she died. The thing that pisses me off the most is that the other driver barley had a scratch on him.

Later in the day!

"Bentley you are doing great so far!" Nancy my physical theripist tells me I just look to my side. "I know you feel like we aren't making progress but its only been 4 days. Hun it takes a while."

"Why are we doing this its not like I'm going to be able to walk again!" I yelled at her I fucking hate her cheery mood. But she just ignored me.

"You may be able to go home soon probable by the end of the week! That means like 6 days." I looked at her.

"I don't have a home anymore." My voice was flat with no emotion and as I said that April came in the room.

"Hey Bent how are you doing today?"

"How should I be doing?" I asked more to myself than her.

"Bentley I came here to tell you that" she paused and sat down next to me. "You will be living with us from now on."

"How you can't take care of me you work!" I stared at her and she took my hand.

"I'm going to work from home." She wispered.

"April I can not ask you to do this. It's to much." I almost cried it would be another life I would be wreaking.

"Bentley you are like my daughter I will not take no for an answer. Plus we fave your room ready and a ramp put in. And today Nancy is going to show me Phil, and Cody how to take care of you." My cheeks got red with this. It meant bathing me and changing my catheter. But before I could say anything Cody and his dad Phil walked in.

"Did you tell her April?"Phil asked

"Yes nancy just has to tell us what to do." At that moment we all looked at nancy.

"First we will give her a bath. I'm going to need Cody to pick her up bridal style and lay her into the tub." After she said this Cody picked me up and started walking silently.

"I'm sorry Cody!" I cryied my head in his neck.

"Why are you sorry?"

"You should not have to do this. It's not your job!" I looked up at him just to see him staring down at me.

" this is nothing compared to what you are and have gone through you are almost my sister and I just want the laughing joking Bentley back."

"I don't know if I can do that for you." I wispered as he set me in the tub. April walking in after him.

"Not right now no but mabe someday you might!" He told me and left.

After that April undressed me and bathed me in silence then after I was redressed Cody came back and got me. But instead of taking me to my room he took me out into the hall.

"Where are we going?" I asked him looking around not knowing where we were because i haven't left the room before.

"Bent it's a secrete would I really tell you." He smiled knowing how much I hate secretes.

"We'll if you don't tell me I'm leaving." I told him forgetting I couldn't move but stopped when I realized I could not get away. I must've had a pretty pissed face on because Cody started to chuckle at me. "You know it's not funny"

"Hold your horses we are almost there" he said opening a door. I almost cried seeing what was inside the room.
