Stolen hearts

Chapter 12

It's been about a week since he said he loved me. He doesn't know that I know though. I don't know if I love him but I do like him a lot!

Tomorrow is Monday and I am going to school to meet with the principle about returning to class. Plus I have to do my debate with Zane otherwise he has to write a 2 page essay. He is going to wish he chose the essay.

Cody does not want me going to school but I need to get out of the house and try to be normal. So that's what I'm going to do. April and Phil are on my side but Zane isn't.

I'm not sure what to call me and Zane. I mean we are with each other all the time, we haven't kissed yet.so does that mean we are dating? And how did I not notice him before that morning.

God I am just laying in bed at 2 in the morning rambling on and on to myself! Zane slept over again but I am just so excited to start school I can't sleep.

Zane shifts in bed so that his arm is over me. His head nuzzled into my neck. I grab his hair and start twirling it in my hands and soon drift off to sleep.

7:40a.m

"If we don't wake her up maybe she won't rember that she has the meeting today!" A voice that I'm pretty sure was Cody's said.

"Then we would be in deep shit! She would kill us." Zane's voice said from next to me.

"Indeed I would!" I mumbled rolling over and sitting up. Glaring at Cody then clapping my hands. "Ok get out I need to get ready!"

I pushed myself onto my chair and went to get some clothes. I decided on black skinny jeans. A long sleeve shirt, and one of my soccer Jerseys over it. Putting on some mascara and blush then headed down stairs.

Everything was fall colors since thanksgiving was In a week. I headed to the kitchen and grabbed a travel mug and put coffee into it.

"Are you ready?" April asked from by the stove.

"Yeah I just want to get out of the house more than anything." I told her as I herd a car start and Zane walked in from outside.

"Are you almost ready?" He asked putting his arms around my waist.

"Are you taking me or cody?" I replied but knowing the answer.

"Me now let's go Cody already left!" He said while wheeling my chair to the car.

The ride is only about five minutes which consisted of Zane trying to steal my coffee and successfully keeping it away from him. By the time we pulled up to the school I was done with my coffee. Zane parked the car and looked at me.

"Are you ready?" I shook my head yes and smiled.

"Do you want me to go to the main office with you?" He asked.

"No I will just meet you in English ok!"

"Ok." He said getting out of the car and getting my seat ready.

We were late and no one was in the hall so he wheeled me to the doors of the office. Bent down and wipered into my ear.

"Are you sure you are ready?" He asked.

"For the last time yes. Now get to class before you get in trouble!" I told him and rolled into the office doors. Everything looked the same. The secretary must've herd the door but could not see me because of her tall desk.

"Hello who's there?" She asked.

"Hi I'm here to see principle Johnson!" I saw her head peek over the counter and a smile spread across her face.

"Bentley nice to see you. You can head to his office." She told me.

I rolled into his office and his back was facing me.

"Adam if that is you again then you can just leave and I will call your parents." He yelled before looking back.

"Jeez someone got up in the wrong side of the bed." I stated. He turned around a smile plastered on his face.

"What brings you here?" He asked me.

"We'll I would like to start school today if that's all right with you." I asked him.

"We'll we don't have a schedule for you!"

"Can't I just go to my normal classes, pleases Johnson?"

"Fine" he said writing a note to show all my teachers.

"Is my locker full of my stuff still?" I asked him before I left.

"Yes it is." I started to turn.

"Oh and that would be 53 meetings now. You need to put a tally down!" I herd him chuckle as I left.

When I got to my locker it was exactly the same so I grabbed my bio note bilk and started to make my way there. Wow only 20 minutes left of class.

It felt weird going down the halls again. At least I had Cody in my classes. God it felt like the first day of school all over again.

When I opened the door everyone stared at me. Mrs. Humpernipple just made a dirty face. I wheeled over to her and handed her the note.

"Nice of you to join us miss. Venisly. You can take a seat now!" She waved her arm and returned to the board. I wheeled over to Cody. He moved a chair from the table and I wheeled in we're it use to be pulling out my notebook.

"How does it feel to be back?" Cody asked. I looked up and everyone was still staring at me.

"I feel like I'm a zoo animal!" I wispered back to him. He looked around noticing everyone was staring.

"What are you guys looking at haven't you guys ever seen a girl before!" He yelled and the all looked away.

"Mr. Anderson is there something you would like to tell me!" Mrs. Humpernipple asked. He shook his head. She just sighed and went back on talking.

"Thanks." The rest of class went by real fast. Next thing I new Zane was waiting outside thee class room door.

That's how the next 2 periods went. People staring. Zane meeting me by the door. But now I was excited it was finally time for english.

"Bentley nice to see you." Mrs. Kemp said when she saw me walk in. Then looked to the class. "Sit next to your partners and we will begin."
