Chapter 9

I woke up at about 3 am. And I just stared at the ceiling, because let's get realistic I can't really do anything else. And that really got to me.

"Bentley you are done crying!" I told myself. Trying to say strong .i needed something to take my mind off things. A distraction. I looked around my room and saw a T.V. in front of my bed. But the remote was on my end table.

"For fuck sake I can not get a break!" I yelled. I didn't mean to yell it but being serious I was getting aggravated.

I started to cry and I didn't even notice the door open. It wasn't even till Cody was laying next to me, that I knew he was in here.

I looked over at him his hair was a mess and he looked tired.

"You look like shit!" I told him in between tears.

"I could say the same about you." He took my face in his hands. Our eyes starring at one another.he wiped tears from my cheek."What's wrong bent why are you crying?"

"You will think its retarded." I looked down.

"So what if its retarded I've done retarded things. So I think we are even." He looked at me but I was silent. "So what's up I won't laugh"

"Fine, I can't reach the remote." I wispered but he herd me still and laughed. That bastard he promised. "You told me you would not laugh."

"Sorry I couldn't help it." I looked at his amused face then I laughed to. "We'll you should be nice to me and maybe just maybe I will get the remote and not leave the tv on infomercials."

"You wouldn't!" I stared wide eyed at him.

"No but your face was to die for" we both started to laughed and he reached over and grabed the remote.

"Can we watch cartoons?" I asked giving him puppy dog eyes knowing he can't resist them. Plus he hated cartoons. But he put them on any way and after about 15 minutes I was asleep. Sponge bob will do that to you.

I woke up and Cody was still laying by me sleeping. God what a lazy man. Nick was still on the tv. But I didn't feel like staying in here being locked. So I leaned over and licked Cody's face. He woke up instentaly.

"What the hell" he shot out of bed and I burst out laughing. But because of the force he got out of bed I fell over. Since I had been laying partially on him. I groaned as my head hit something.

"Holy fuck I'm sorry Bentley." He went running over to me.

"Fuck that hurt Cody!" I groaned and he went to pick me up. But before he could I snapped at him. "Don't touch me!"

"Bentley I will not leave you lying on the floor!" He reached over to me again to lift me up.

"Cody don't fucking touch me!" I kept screaming.

"Fine be that fucking way." Then he left.

I lay there crying. It was suppose to be a good morning why did I scream at him. Then I noticed my head was throbbing. I must've hit it on the end table. I was starting to get a headache.

"Fuck that hurt!" I mumbled .

After couple of minutes of lying on the ground Phil came in and walked over to me. He just looked at me, and I laughed. I must look ridicules.

"Bentley I am going to pick you up. Okay?" He said reaching down to me.

"Ok" I mumbled as he picked me up and sat me on the bed. Putting a pillow behind my head. Witch was hurting even more.

"Bentley did you hit your forehead?" He asked

"Yeah why?" I looked at him but he was staring at my head.

"Well there is a bump, do you have a headache?"

Phil was a doctor he went to collage with my mother that's how they met since then my mom was best friends with April & Phil. It never accrued to me that they had lost a best friend.

"Do you miss her?" I asked him looking down at my hands.

"Yes I some time see April pick up the phone to call her." I looked into his eyes they were glossy.

"I'm sorry!" I cried out to him. "It's all my fault" tears were spilling out my eyes.

"Bentley it is not your fault. God just wanted her up in heaven to look over you." He engulfed me into a hug.

"Thank you!"I smiled at him.

"Now tell me do you have a headache?"

"A little one." I answered "your not going to take me to the hospital are you?" I really did not want to go back. He must of seen the dread on my face.

"No but you have a concision so I want you to stay in bed."it's not like I was going to run through the house. "I will call your doctor but you have to try to stay awake."

There was a knock on the door and Cody's head peeked through.

"Can I come in" he asked a guilty look on his face.

"Yeah son try to keep her awake. And no sex!" That got me laughing.

"Yes phil cause I so am in the sex mood." I told him and he got up chuckling.

Cody sat on the end of the bed after Phil left.

"I'm sorry Bentley."

"It was my fault I shouldn't of licked you!" I said my face serious. But we both cracked up.

"Yeah who wakes someone up by licking them!" He said after we had caught our breathes.

"Hey it's me you have to be prepared." He grabed my had.

"I did not know that you could go flying through the air though." I imagined my self flying through the air and chuckled.

April appeared at the door of my room. "Bentley you have company."

"Who?"
