Another dream, no a nightmare. Sharp pains coursed through my stomach. It wasn't the feeling I got when I met my mother and brother, but when my father was around. In a dark forest a set of eyes crafted my way but not my fathers Kyo's. His deep green eyes surrounded by mist. Why was he here? It's a nightmare I can feel it yet he is here.

"Kyo?" I called out to the green eyes. He stood like a statue just watching me. I look around and around but nothing just darkness. As I went to move closer, Kyo didn't move an inch his black fur swayed in the wind. It was almost mesmerizing yet terrifying. He growled a low growl. Was he growling at me? I turned the direction he was growling at and the same red eyes stared back at me and before I knew it my father was on top of me. Kyo quickly lunged after him tearing at his throat. I moved away to try to shift but I couldn't. Kyo continued the attack. I watched hopelessly I couldn't do anything but watch. I managed to swing my body to get on top of him to move him away from Kyo, but he quickly moved his attention on me hitting me to a tree. I toppled over. My father moved Kyo to his back. In that moment I couldn't do anything. My breathing became uneven. Before I knew it, he ripped Kyo's throat out. I screamed in terror; my heart dropped along with tears. Kyo's naked body shifted back with blood pouring from his throat. "This is just a dream." I told myself over and over again. But before I could even try to wake myself up my father was onto of me. Scratching at my skin and moving to my eyes. I screamed in horror pleading and begging. "GET OFF!!" Over and over but nothing. Then a voice familiar as is Kyo.

"ANNA!! WAKE UP! PLEASE" The voice begged and before I knew it I  awake into the cold room. It was just another nightmare I told myself, but it was too much. Was it a sign? If Kyo tries to kill my father will he die? I grabbed at my eyes checking for wounds. He pulled my hands away. "Anna, STOP!!"

"Kyo..I...I" I couldn't say it.

"Baby, breath." He coxed.

"Kyo," I took a deep breath. "I saw you die." I cried hysterically. Kyo wrapped both arms around me pulling me close to his chest.

"Baby." I cried harder. "BABY, feel me." He placed my hands on his face. "I am alive. It was just a nightmare nothing more." He tried to make me feel better but how after seeing such a scene as that. I managed up the courage and spoke.

"Kyo, you have to promise me. When the time comes you will not interfere with the death of the silver moon Alpha." I begged.

"You know I can't do that."

"Please, I'm begging you. If you love me don't fight him, and trust in me." I would do anything for him, but I can't watch my mate die. "Please..Please...PLEASE!!" Tears became heavier.

"Alright. Alright. Just stop crying Anna. I won't fight him only you." I knew he didn't mean it, but in that moment, I was so tired I chose to believe him. I knew if I was fighting and I wasn't winning he would jump in and that thought killed me. But I couldn't think that know and I knew that. That night I stayed crawled to his chest, he stayed awake until I fell asleep. Saying sweet nothings in my ear.

The next week came by surprisingly fast and I knew today everything would change. Today was the day the surgery was planned. I was so nervous, but I knew I had to do it. Not just to be a strong Luna but for the protection of my pack. I sat on the couch waiting for Kyo to get home from his meeting with Jason. Pack stuff was all he said to me when I asked, but nevertheless he insisted on waiting for him to come home. My ears focused on the clock. TICK TOCK TICK TOCK. Each time it made a noise I felt my body cringe as the time got closer. My hands shake like a baby did when it cried. I felt uneasy. I didn't understand why. Maybe the guilt? Maybe the surgery? No. It felt different, like a pit in my stomach. It didn't matter I had to ignore the bad feeling and brush it off my shoulders. It had to be done. So, I swallowed the deep pit within my belly and took deep breaths. As I hit the last exhale Kyo's presence lightened up the room. He came to my side admittedly. I realized then he probably saw my hands shake and how pale my face was.
