Sitting in an unfamiliar pack hospital and a man that claims to be my mate holding my hand. I looked around for any shred of memory that could remind me of the life I had forgotten. There was nothing expect for my wolf constantly trying to send me images, but even that didn't work.
"Alpha Kyo, Luna." The man in the white coat greeted us.
"Enough with the formalities. What happened to my mate?" Kyo asked. The doctor came up to me flashing a light into my eyes once again like he did earlier.
"Well, alpha I have ran all the tests and it seems as if there is nothing wrong with your mate. Even the MRI showed no problems." He seemed stuck.
"Then why the hell can't my mate remember me?" Kyo seemed to be getting pissed off. My wolf edged me to calm him down. Out of shyness I kept my head low reaching for his hand once again. When I looked up, I saw his eyes turn black and I quickly took my hand away.
"Alpha, I think there's a possibility that there is a caster involved."
"Witch?" I spoke out.
"Yes Luna. Possibly. There isn't much I can do here but I can get a caster from a nearby pack to come and see what she can do." The doctor continued. Kyo took a deep breath.
"Yes. Please do." He nodded at the doctor. I got up from the bed and adjusted my shirt. Kyo walked out first while I followed shortly behind him. As we met the outside, Kyo seemed to be adjugated. He kept his hands out while mine in my pocket. "You really don't remember anything?" He asked me.
"No." I said quietly.
"What is the last thing you remember?" He asked. I scanned through my brain for any knowledge.
"I remember waking up blind and meeting my friend Alex." I replied. He growled at that comment, causing me to put my head down. He noticed this and stopped in his tracks. He went to come to my side, but he stopped once he saw me back away.
"I am sorry my Sekia." Sekia? What is that? I looked at him confused. "Its just you don't know how hard it is to see your mate not remember a minute of you. Seeing you coward away from me makes my wolf and I both utterly depressed." I felt his emotion. This was all so weird to me but I knew he was my mate the bond wouldn't lie. I moved closer to him and pulled my arms around giving him the best hug I could. He seemed shock and soon his face found my mark. He stayed there before I pulled away.
"I am sorry." Was all I could say.
The next few hours we waited for the caster to arrive. Kyo sat next to me trying to show support but he could only do so much. I wasn't comfortable with letting him touching me too much. I understood he was my mate but to me I barely knew him. A scent flooded my nose. It seemed familiar but yet I still didn't remember.
"Alpha Kyo, the caster is here." Some male wolf said.
"Thank you, Jason." He smiled at him. The beta? I guessed. A woman walked in about my age or so. She wore all black clothes and her hair was as red as fire. Her eyes held the color purple and her hand the mark of the casters. The mark was shaped like a mocking jay. I learned about witches at a very young age with my mother.
"Hello." She spoke upfront. The beta came in and soon all hell broke loose. I saw Jasons eyes contrast and inhale deeply. I looked at Kyo and he held a smirk on his face. Within minutes Jasons was in her neck holding her close. Am I witnessing a mate encounter?
"Mate." Jason said in a deep voice. I looked away blushing and a shred of jealousy. I don't even remember that moment with Kyo I thought. I heard a laugh escape Kyo's mouth.
"You will." Damn mate bond he heard me. Confusion swirled around in the caster's eyes.
"Thats impossible." She whispered and pulled away. Jason wouldn't let go. I felt bad for the girl she didn't understand what was going on. Kyo tried to put a stop to it but even that didn't work.
"Jason, let her go." I used a voice I didn't know I had and just like that he listened but whimpered a bit. I felt shock throughout my body and put my head down. Was that my Luna voice?
"Well, that was lovely." Kyo laughed a bit. "But your Luna needs a bit of help here. Jason you can wait and continue this little fuck fest later." I punched Kyo in the stomach and caught myself. Why the hell did I do that? Do I have a death wish he is an Alpha? The caster looked once at Jason and then shook it off walking close to me. She looked at me asking for permission I nodded my head yes. Soon Kyo stopped her. "Wait. Can you explain to me what you plan to do to my mate?" Kyo asked. Earning a growl from a possessive beta. "Oh calm down horn dog. I have a mate." Kyo gave Jason the evil eye.
"I'm just going to scan her memories to see what's interfering with them." She answered. Kyo nodded. She placed her hands on my temples and connected her eyes with mine. Soon a purple bright light connected us two. It happened quick before she broke the connection. She looked concerned and puzzled.
"Did you find anything?" Kyo asked. The caster backed away moving her hair out of her face.
"This will be harder than I thought. It seems as if another caster put a barrier in your mind and I can't remove it." She spoke directly towards me.
"Well, what can we do?!" Kyo's anger shot up. Jason got up and stood by his new mate growling. I pulled at Kyo to sit down and he eventually did.
"She has to break it herself, but what I can do is help some memories come through just not all. Maybe two memories." I nodded.
"Do what you can please."
"How will she break it herself?" Kyo asked.
"This I cannot answer. I've never seen this happened to anyone. My guess is to take her to familiar places, people, anything to remind her of the time she missed." She answered. Kyo grabbed my hand and squeezed.
"Thank you. Until she regains her memories do you mind staying her in my pack ahh." Kyo asked looking for her name. The caster looked at Jason and then back at me.
"It's Bella and I will stay but put a leash on your dog please." She asked Kyo. Jason snarled a bit but walked out. "Okay I will be back later to continue with you. Hopefully I can give you some clues." She smiled.
"Jason is outside he will show you to your quarters." Kyo answered.
