I was back at home now, packing for my trip. That's the only reason I really came back.

My trip was in two days and I had been stalling from talking to Jin.

Today I finally decided to. "I...I'll be going soon in two days." I started as I stood by his office entrance.

He looked up at me. "Come sit." He said gently.

I fiddled with my thumbs and sat on the chair in front of his desk that was between us.

"Look I...I was really out of line. I didn't mean what I said at all I was just upset and trying to..."

"Scare me into staying?" I finished for him.

"As awful as it sounds, yes." He admitted shamefully.

"It is what it is." I shrugged. "Um, anything else?"

"Yeah." He nodded sliding over a check. "This is the fees for your trip."

I stared at the check and at him before sliding it back towards him.

"I don't need it. I already placed the fee. It's been paid for."

"I didn't mean it you know?" He frowned. "I really didn't. What's mine is yours." He held my hand.

"That's okay, I have my own besides we signed a prenup so what's yours is yours and mine remains mine." I said making his eyes cloud with sadness.

He closed his eyes and then stared in confusion. "Why are you mentioning a prenup? I-I don't understand. What do you mean?"

"Nothing, I'm just saying that you don't have to provide for me. I can do it on my own, I have a job and after school is over I'll have a career." I shrugged faintly. "I don't need your money."

I slipped my hand out of his making him frown.

"And I think what you said about calling you and texting you-

"I didn't mean it." He said quickly.

"No, it's okay." I promised. "I think that'll be best for us and our marriage."

"What? What do you mean? A month?" He whispered, I nodded.

"Yeah." My voice cracked. "It'll give us some time apart to think about us and our marriage. It'll be good for us, the space. God knows we need it." I smiled sadly quickly wiping my tears.
