"No seriously, talk to me. You're avoiding wedding planning I can see it. It's been a week since we decided to get engaged and that whole week you haven't helped a bit. Do you not want to get married?"

"What?" I asked Mark. "Of course I want to get married! How could you say I don't?"

"Because the way you're acting makes me thing otherwise." He said.

I frowned. "I-I do want to marry you-

"Then do you just not want a wedding because we don't have to have a wedding Elle we could just go get married." He huffed.

"It's not that, I just-

"Do you want to get married or not Eleanor?"

I paused. "I love you-

"Oh my god." He laughed in disbelief. "Is this because of Jin-

"No!" I gasped. "Mark please just...stop being angry."

He stared down at me. "Then tell me. Why don't you want to get married?"

I looked down at my feet. "Maybe we just rushed into it too quickly." He whispered.

I looked up at him. "For what?"

"Everything. Marriage, getting back together-

"What are you saying? That you want to break up?" I asked with worry.

"No sweetheart no." He shook his head.

"Then what?" I pulled away.

"I'm just saying maybe we should take a break."

"See other people?" I asked. "Is that what you want? You went from wanting marry me to-

"That's not what a break is. You know that."

"The way you make it sound seems different." I muttered.

"Elle, I don't need to meet other people to know what I want. I've wanted you since the day we met, I don't need more time but if you do...then take it babe." He whispered.

"Just let me know, when I get back from my case in Japan then we can talk about this." He said.

"So until then?" I asked.

"Until then we're taking a break. We're not broken up but we're not exactly together-

"Is this just so you can meet other women in Japan without being tied to me?"

He narrowed his eyes at me. "Is that really what you think? Is that how you see me?"

"I'm not him." He said.

"I know. Nevermind just, forget it." I shook my head. "When do you leave?"

"In two days." He said. "For a month."
