Mark and I were at a restaurant with Jin and his date.
The kids were with my brother and Lena.
"So you two were married before? Isn't this weird for you?" His date, Areum asked.
She was sweet and I could tell this situation intimidated her.
"Nope, we divorced 3 years ago. We're both over it." I smiled. "Besides, I'm with Mark."
"We should order." Jin said trying to steer the conversation away from our divorce.
It was still a touchy subject even if the both of us pretended it was okay.
"Oh yeah, there's a lot." I hummed. "Shall we get wine?"
"You're breastfeeding Hon." Jin mumbled staring at his menu.
"I mean, not that much anymore. The kids are too old for it. I just have it in the fridge."
"We could get a bottle." Jin shrugged.
"I don't know what to get." Areum said and I agreed.
"Me neither."
"You like the lobster fettuccine." Jin and Mark said in unison then stared at each other.
"Dont be mad at me because I know her." Jin rolled his eyes.
"I'll just get that then." I said awkwardly. "Areum have you decided?"
"Uh no." She said staring at the menu.
I gave Jin a look. 'Order for her' I mouthed to him.
'I don't know what she likes.' He mouthed back. I narrowed my eyes at him.
"I think I'll get the same." She said. "So how long have you two been together?"
"We dated for 2 years and then he left for school and now we're back. So I can't say." I shrugged.
"You two look great together." She smiled.
"Thanks." Mark beamed holding my hand. "She's amazing."
Not amazing enough to keep you from cheating.
I rubbed my head. I took a pill from my bag and swallowed it with some water.
"What's wrong?" Jin asked.
"She's fine, she's just pregnant-
"You finally took a test? It's positive? That-
"Wait, he knew?" Mark asked me.
"Are you two idiots done? No it didn't come out positive you were there remember? And yeah I told him. Let's just talk later." I mumbled.
"Okay, don't get upset."Mark said moving my hair away from my face.
"If you don't mind me asking, why did you two get divorced? You two seem to get along just fine, especially when you're with your kids."
