Sketchbook Boy- A Tododeku Story

Chapter 20 - Day 13 : Self Care :

***Bad Bitch Midoriya has entered the chat***

Okay so I wanted to have some fun at the start of the chapter so here it is

Midoriya's POV

Every inch of my body hurts. My legs burn. My face aches. My ribs throb. And my arms scream in agony. I groan as I try and untangle myself from the black duvet that I lay in, to no avail. The pain in my legs surmounted my will to move and so I sit my torso up and lean against my bed frame to look out of the window to watch the golden rays of the sun appear from the horizon. It takes a lot of energy, but I manage to move my arm and open the window to feel the summer sun's heat radiate onto me. It's comforting to feel the warmth on me, and the pure fresh air that blows in through my window helps wake me up. However, still not finding the motivation to get up, I grab my phone and open netflix to find a series. 

I don't realise the time fly by and end up binging a whole series before I realise how bright it is outside. I groan at my addiction to netflix and turn my phone off to look back outside, it's a nice day, albeit very warm, there's a slight breeze that makes the trees sway in sync with the grass, making it look like they're dancing together. It's beautiful. A wash of cold air enters my room and I hide under the covers for a second as my spine shivers. 

The cold air gives me a sudden motivation to get up, so I push the covers away and walk up to the shower. It takes a while to get all of my bandages off, but once I do I take a hot shower and just sit down, letting the warm water hit my back. 

I'm sitting on my bed in a white towel while reapplying my bandages when I hear pounds on my door. 'Not this again' I roll my eyes and sigh, not bothering to open my door, 

"OIIII DEKU OPEN THE DAMN DOOR!" I hear Kacchan yell. I curse under my breath and sigh. I'm not planning to live very long so might as well live it to the fullest, 

"Fuck off!" I shout back, finishing off the bandages on my chest, 

"The fuck you just say to me?" he yells menacingly, making me snicker. It's very rare that someone talks back to him and even rarer that it's me, but hell I don't mind telling him what's what today. It's called self care honey. He's made my life shit these past few days and humiliated me constantly. I get to do it back for a minute. 

"You heard me!" I shout through the door, "Fuck off I'm busy and don't need your bull shit right now!" it's silent for a second before he bangs the door again, 

"Open the fucking door before I break it down." I roll my eyes again and scoff at him, 

"And then you'll pay for it, cause I don't have the money for it." 

"Deku, the actual fuck, I just want to talk man."

"You're talking now, so hurry the fuck up, I am busy," I grow impatient as I try and do my right wrist, it stingy as I put disinfectant on it. 

"I-" it's one of the first times I've heard him speechless, the other times being when I confessed to him back in high school and broke up with him two years ago, 

"I'm waiting Bakugo" once again nothing comes from the opposite end of the door until I hear footsteps retract from my door and the lift ding. 

I smile at myself. I never do things for myself anymore, in hopes of avoiding confrontation. But who the fuck cares anymore. I'll be dead by next week and I deserve it. I deserve to do whatever the fuck I want. Including shouting at my ex for being a bastard.

I feel a slight weight leave my shoulders as I go to my phone to connect it to my speakers. If I'm dying who said I can't have fun. I go onto Spotify and go right down to the bottom of my playlists to find the 'BAD BITCH' playlist me and Uraraka had made two years ago. I quickly scroll down surprised to find 100 or so new songs that Uraraka had put in. I guess she forgot we shared it. Smiling I click the shuffle button and turn the volume up high, letting the music engulf the room as I carry on bandaging my arms.
