Chapter 8
We ended up at the little smoothie bar by the beach when we got there I hopped of Zac's back, some of his friend came over and started talking to him I went inside and asked for a Berry Beautiful for myself and a mango Banana Rama for Zac. I never understood why anyone could like mango it is one of the worst tasting fruits ever, I mean they smell nice but they taste gross.
I was snapped out of my thoughts with the girl behind the counter giving me the smoothies I said thank you and walked away to find Zac.
When I walked outside I saw that Zac was still with his friends I walked over to him gave him his smoothy and went to walk away to find a seat and wait till he was finished, it's not that I don't like or get along with his friends or anything I just don't understand half the stuff they go on about so I tend to let them enjoy messing around without having to explain everything.
As I sat down and started drinking my smoothy when someone came and sat down on the seat next to me, without looking at who it was I said "Sorry that seat is saved for someone"
"That's okay I don't think Zac will mind, he is too busy talking to them to care anyway"
I looked up to see who it was "oh hey Bryan what's up?"
Bryan is Emily's cousin he moved here about a year and a half ago.
"Not much, how are you? I heard about last night you okay?"
"yea I'm good just had a little bit of frustration and I guess she was the lucky winner for me to take it out on you know" I said looking down at my lap
"yea I know" he replied
We sat there in silence for a bit. When it started feeling a bit awkward I looked up at him he looked like he wanted to say something but wasn't sure what to do.
"Go on say it!" I said to him
"Say what?"
"Just give it to me tell me what you're thinking"
"I'm not thinking anything" he said I gave him a look as if to say yea right we both know that's a lie
"Ok fine I just can't help think that's not like you, the way you went of on a full rampage and just started attacking her, I mean granted she hit you first but wow... The way u attacked her back was so... NOT YOU" Bryan replied with a smirk.
"See I knew you wanted to say something but I wasn't expecting that but... yea I know, I was just pissed of cause someone annoyed me just before that and I wasn't in the mood to just stand there and take her crap as well!" I said putting my smoothly on the table and rubbing my face in frustration.
"oh okay what happened who pissed you off? I'll deal with them for you" bray said flexing his muscles "unless it's a girl and I'll leave that for you cause after what I saw last night you got that shit handled" He said laughing
"Well I'm sure you could mr muscle man" I said giving him a slight nudge "but it was my Ex" I said looking up.
"Ahh well I see I can help you with that one" he said leaning over and nudging me back while winking, I laughed.
I looked up over Bryans shoulder and then said "you every hear of if you speak of the devil he will appear? Because there he is now" I said motioning my head in the direction I was looking
Bryan turned his head around to see what I was looking at. "you mean that guy with the black shirt?"
"yup" I said rolling my eyes
"well if he comes over here I'll sort him out don't worry, it will be a piece of cake!" Bryan said dusting off his shoulder. "It'll be a red velvet explosion" he said winking at me.
