Chapter 9
Bryan and I had walked back to the little smoothie bar to see if Zac was still there, but when we got back we couldn't find him so we decided to go look for him somewhere else, just before we were about to leave I saw his friends from earlier so I went over to them to ask them 'if they had seen Zac' they said "no not since he took Jason off to calm him down" I said "thanks' and walked off.
I looked over at Bryan and he said to try calling him, I pulled out my phone and dialled his number... No answer, so I sent him a txt 'meet at my place?!' then Bryan and I headed to mine.
Bryan and I got back to my place just in time to see my dad carrying suitcases down the stairs.
"Hey dad you need help?" I asked running through the open front door
"No sweetie I'm fine" dad smiled "but you can open the door for me please" he added
"oh okay" I said holding the door open for him, my dad walked out to put the bags in the car as he came back inside my mum came downstairs.
"Hey honey" mum said kissing my head "who's this?" she added gesturing towards Bryan.
"Oh sorry this is Bryan he is Emily's cousin" I said
"Hi, nice to meet you Bryan" my mum said acting all innocent and sweet.
"Hi Mrs Taylor nice to meet you too, you have a lovely home" Bryan said
"You don't have to kiss ass Bryan" I said laughing at him.
"Yes Bryan you don't have to kiss ass" my dad said smirking
"oh... I... I... was... I... did... Yes sir!" Bryan said stuttering from nervousness
I looked at Bryan's face then I looked back at dad and we both burst out laughing at how scared he looked, Bryan then gave me a confused look but didn't say anything.
Just as my dad was about to say anything Zac burst through the door screaming "HONEY... I'M HOOOOMMMEE" I smiled
"Oh how I have missed you soo much you handsome Devil" I said raising my arms for a hug.
Zac looked straight at me then said "pffft I wasn't talking to you" then walked straight over to my dad gave him a big hug saying "come here my big sweet hairy faced man give me a big kiss" my dad scrunched up his face as Zac kissed my dad on the cheek.
I fiend hurt when Zac turned to me "ok fine you can have one too sweetie, come here"
"Nope I don't want one now you two timer" I said stepping behind Bryan
"Awww come here baby you know I love you" he said still walking closer to Bryan and I but stopped when mum said something.
"Okay well we better be off"
"Leaving so soon? I just got home" Zac turned towards mum
"Sorry mate but because you just got "home" we have to go" my dad said saying the word "home" with the quotation fingers
"Aww don't be like that you know you love me" Zac said walking over and putting an arm over his shoulder
"Yea maybe I do, Maybe I don't" My dad said putting his arm over Zac's shoulder, as soon as dad did this Zac's face dropped it was like he just saw a ghost and I grinned but before Zac could react my dad wrapped his arm around Zac's neck and put him in a neck lock.
Dad had a good hold on Zac and wasn't about to let go he wanted to see if Zac could get out of it "c'mon boy don't be such a wussy make a move" dad said jokingly
Zac then said "I would old man but I don't want to put you in hospital before your holiday" dad laughed "yea that's right ya old geezer we both know it's true"
Before dad could respond mum interrupted "okay boys that's enough" walking over to them and breaking them apart
