Chapter 14

Zac's POV

We were swimming in the pool just talking about things and laughing just having fun, when she stopped and asked me,

"So what do you think of Bryan?"

"He's alright nice guy why?"

"Just wondering" she said looking away

"Sure you are what's up?"

"He asked me out" I she said with a big smile on her face

"Oh" was all I could say I mean what was I supposed to say to that

"Oh? What do you mean Oh?" she asked with a confused look on her face

"Nothing it's just why Bryan?" I asked curious what he did to get her to actually notice him in that way.

"Well like you said yourself he's a nice guy"

"Okay well I am happy for you" and I guess I kind of was happy for her but I feel slightly disappointed

She didn't look convinced so she continued to find out why I went quiet "What's wrong?"

"Nothing I swear" I lied

"yeah right what's wrong and don't lie to me" she said starting to get angry

"There is nothing wrong I swear"

"You know you keep swearing there is nothing wrong, but if you actually meant it you would say you promise nothing is wrong, so that's how I know you are lying" she said now getting really angry

"ugh just drop it okay" I said getting up and out of the pool to grab my towel

"No I won't drop it" she got out and walked over to me grabbing my arm and turned me around to face her "Tell me"

I didn't say anything I just walked past her and into the house, I walked to the fridge and grabbed the juice and then went and got a glass I poured myself a drink then sat at the bench when she came in she walked straight over to me and grabbed my juice out of my hands and put it on the bench away from me.

"Well are you going to tell me what is wrong or what?" she huffed

"No because there is nothing wrong" I said hoping to change the subject, because I know if we continued with it I would regret saying what I really wanted to say and if that happens she would hate me forever.

"ZACHARY JAMES EVANS! DO NOT LIE TO ME" I mentally winced as she screamed at me

"I am not lying" I said trying not to make her angrier

"If there was nothing wrong why won't you talk to me and why do you keep walking away?" she asked

She had a point there with me avoiding the situation, but I just can't tell her, She has to figure it out on her own so she doesn't feel like I am trying to stop her from dating Bryan "I Promise there is nothing wrong okay just leave it" I said shrugging it off

"ugh Whatever" she said and then stormed off to her bedroom angrily

When she walked off I reached over and grabbed my juice and finished it off I sat there just thinking why the hell can't I just tell her, am I just making excuses not to tell her? Or am actually doing the right thing?

I sat there and continued to think if I did tell her what would be the cons and the pros at the moment the cons were winning

Cons:
She won't feel the same as you do
she would hate you forever
She will never forgive you
You would loose your best friend
