Godzilla: Apocalypse

Chapter 15: Help Arrives

Godzilla was close to death. Godzilla tried to use its last bit of strength to free itself. But Keizer Ghidorah had a good grip on it.

"Guys meet the Gotengo!" Breckon radioed us. Suddenly a large aircraft flew over us and shot a laser at Godzilla. Army men started to run toward us from behind. "You folks alright?" One of them asked. "We're fine." I replied.

Godzilla began to gain strength. It grabbed Keizer Ghidorah's neck and started to struggle. Keizer Ghidorah didn't let go. Until three jets shot missles at its back. Keizer then let go. Godzilla fell to the ground. Godzilla immediately ran up to Keizer Ghidorah and started to fight. It grabbed Keizer Ghidorah's left head and bit down on its right head. The middle head shot a lightning bolt at Godzilla. But just then Godzilla shot its atomic breath which was stronger then ever and caused the middle head to blow up. The left head was about to shoot a lightning bolt when Godzilla aimed it toward the right head. Which caused it to seperate from the body. Godzilla grabbed the left head and swung it over its shoulder. Godzilla walked toward the monster. The left head was helpless due to the other two being gone. Godzilla stomped on its head then kicked it. Godzilla then grabbed its two tailes and started to throw it back and fourth. And finally Godzilla threw Keizer Ghidorah into the air. It then charged its atomic breath and used full power. Godzilla spun around and unleashed its full power. A red beam of atomic breath hit Keizer Ghidorah causing it to fly into the air. It was only alive in the air for a few seconds until it exploded. Godzilla looked at the explosion and let out a loud victory roar.

We all stood there amazed about what we just seen. "That! Was the most amazing thing I ever saw." Kelly said. "Gorden. Nice work." A soilder said. "No problem sgt." Gorden replied. "Alright folks. Come with us. We'll take you two our base. We got a bunch of cizilians over there." They said. "You mean people are still alive?" I asked. "Plenty." He replied. I smile formed on my face. "And no Violantie has made it into the base." He said. Kate and Kelly grinned. And for the first time, John smiled. I never saw him smile.

Helicopters flew in and landed in the city. "Make sure to pick up my friend Breckon." I said. "Don't worry. We'll get him." He said. I then got in the helicopter.
(13 minutes later)
Kelly was sleeping under my arm. John was passed out. And Kate was looking out the window. We got a good view of the sunrise. We flew passed Godzilla. It roared at us. But didn't harm us. I think it was probably saying goodbye. The world may be gone. But we can start over. The Gotengo brought down the Xilian ship. We wouldn't have to worry about them. Thanks to Godzilla, alien life is again beaten.
