Chapter 21- Rain

I pull him closer to me, taking a look at his face next to mine, gazing into those emerald eyes of his.

"Gods..." I exhale. "I have loved these eyes for all eternity. Or at least, it feels like it with you." He blushes deeply. "But somehow... not long enough at the same time." He looks at me tenderly, making me beam. Just to have him look at me like that again... Fills me with so much unimaginable joy. I plant a kiss on his forehead again, ever so gentle & slow, hand moving carefully through his dark, silky curls. He smiles warmly up at me, eyes shining.

"You don't have to go so slow, you know..." He purrs, emerald eyes fixed on me, one eyebrow raised. "I... want this..."

I smile softly. "Yes, love, but I don't want to do anything you might regret later... & we have as much time as you need... Don't feel rushed..."

He flashes a genuine smile. "Kissing then. We stop at kissing, for now... I don't want to move too fast... I want to enjoy every moment with you..."

"That's what I've been doing all along, darling." I move my hands through his soft hair, before gently placing a kiss on the soft skin of his cheek, his eyes dreamy for a second, before they become strangely focused & he grabs my chin. Turning my head. & kissing me right on the lips.

There's nothing smexier than communication & consent, y'all ;). On another note, sorry for ending on a cliffhanger, but you'll hear from me soon, so I'm not too evil this time, I guess :'D ;)
