Chapter 36 Semi Sisters

  After Mindy let (y/s/n) meet Marcus and they called (y/n) they immediately ran up to Mindy's room to be normal kids for the night. Mindy pulled out a few bottles of nail polish and grabbed her make up. The two girls finally let down there guard and enjoyed the night. Nothing but nonsense rang from the room. The sweet sound of laughter echoed from the house. Nothing could stop the smiled that formed on there faces as the fear and uncertainty from (y/s/n) whole ordeal was forgotten.
  Marcus sat downstairs watching tv. But as Mindy and (y/s/n) laughter grew louder he muted the it smiling. It wasn't too often that Mindy let herself go to this extent and that was exactly what he wanted her to do. To just enjoy life and not take everything so seriously. Marcus thought to himself for a while. He was against all the superhero stuff but having a good friend she could trust was too good and rare of an opportunity. So as long as (y/s/n) was around Mindy could continue her work. But of course Marcus would never actually let on to that decision. Mindy would take way too much of an advantage to that.
  (Y/s/n) sat on the bed a bottle of purple nail polish in one hand, Mindy's hand in her other. Mindy watched her trying to find something interesting and lighthearted to talk about. *So (y/s/n) what is going on with your sister and Chris?* Mindy asked. (Y/s/n) laughed lightly. *Oh I'm not supposed to say.* Mindy scowled at her. *I pinky promise I wont tell.* Mindy asked whining almost. (Y/s/n) sighed. *Well its pretty clear by now that Chris has a crush on my sister. I've been trying to help boost his courage so he will ask her out.*
  Mindy gasped *Is that what he is going to do tonight?* (Y/s/n) thought about that for a moment. * Oh my god I just realized that they will be alone all night together. I hope he makes a move, my sister needs some love in her life.* Mindy giggled a little. *Yeah she is a little bit on edge.* (Y/s/n) sighed. *You dont even know the half of it. She is so paranoid I'm shocked that she even let me go with you tonight, I know she means well but it does get a little annoying.* (Y/s/n) said in a low tone.
  But as soon as the shift from happy to serious came it returned. *But if Chris finally makes a move she will be more occupied with him than me. He needs to hurry up and kiss her already.* (Y/s/n) said making a kissy face. The girls sat there having a laughter attack as they mocked Chris trying to kiss (y/n). Mindy then got up and did her best impression of Chris trying to be romantic. *Oh (y/n) your so beautiful lets make out until our lips fall off.* Mindy said in-between fits of laughter puckering her lips. (Y/s/n) rolled off the bed laughing.
  They were so caught up in there laughing fit that they didn't notice Marcus walk in. *Hey girls I see your having fun.* He said smiling at them. *Yep* Mindy and (y/s/n) said in unison. *You girls might as well be sisters.* He said walking out. Mindy and (y/s/n) looked at each other. *We may not be blood sisters but we are still sisters.* Mindy said. (Y/s/n) eyes lit up. *We are semi sisters. The family you get to choose.* (Y/s/n) said hugging Mindy. She hugged her back tightly a feeling of warmth flooded into her. *You are one of the only people I trust (y/s/n) I'm so glad you are in my life.* Mindy said sincerely. *To be honest I feel the same way its just been my sister and me for so long now I almost forgot how it felt to have a real friend like you in my life.*
  As there serious conversation died down Mindy showed (y/s/n) all of her coolest weapons and how to use them. (Y/s/n) was over joyed to do this as she wanted to get as strong as (y/n) and Mindy. Every opportunity Mindy presented to have her learn something that could be useful to her and the group (y/s/n) made sure to pay close attention. But more often than not there conversations went back to comedy and joy. Mindy and (y/s/n) sat up for as long as they could passing the time with any random nonsense until they both passed out.
