(Y/n) didnt sleep a wink. Every sound, every creek or settling of the floor fueled her paranoia. Every bug that crawled onto the window set her on edge. (Y/n) jolted and jumped at anything that impeeded the silence of the new house she found herself and her sister in.
But (y/s/n) fell right to sleep. She was comfortable here. (Y/n) couldnt understand why she was so quick to trust these people. But felt that if it kept her happy and (y/s/n) was safe she would allow her to spend time with them. But (y/n) thoughts still raced.
Everything from the past day came to the front of her mind. Thinking over everything took (y/n) out of her mind. Hours passed and eventually she looked at the clock to see that it was already 3am. (Y/n) looked over at (y/s/n) who was still sleeping peacefully. Then she grabbed the hem of her shirt and bit it to keep from sobbing as hot alligator tears poured down her face. (Y/n) got up shakily and walked to the mirror in the corner of the room.
Upon seeing the reflection of the woman she didnt even recgonize tears poured down her face even harder. The (y/n) you remembered was not this thing in the mirror. (Y/n) breathed harder trying to regulate her breathing so she didnt wake anyone up.
(Y/n) was at a breaking point. She tiptoed to the door and moved the chair aside as quietly as possible. Once outside of the room she realized she had forgotten where the bathroom was. (Y/n) quietly dropped to the floor and curled up in a ball. The world seemed distant and unattached in that moment.
In a fit of depression and rage (y/n) smacked your hand on the floor. Chris stirred from his sleep as he herd a light smack. He got out of bed and opened his door to see what was going on. Chris immediatly saw (y/n) on the floor. He ran over to help her up.
*Hey are you ok?* Chris asked rushing to her side and grabbing her arm pulling (y/n) up. Once (y/n) was up she pushed Chris off. *I-im perfectly f-fine.* (y/n) said through tears trying to clam down. *You look like you could do with a drink.* Chris said.
(Y/n) nodded and Chris walked her down the hall. His arm draped around her shoulder to keep her from wobbling. He was careful not to irritate her new scars but firm enough to keep (y/n) from falling. Chris noticed that she was still holding back tears.
They entered the kitchen and (y/n) sunk into the chair at the table. Chris grabbed a bottle of white wine and two glasses setting them on the table. He poured two glasses sliding one over to (y/n). She immediatly downed the drink.
Chris sipped his wine as he observed (y/n) rugged appearance. She wiped her puffy red eyes still desperately trying to hold in the tears. *You know (y/n) its ok to cry. You've been through so much. Just let it out.* Chris said softly and carefully wanting (y/n) to open up to him.
A tear finally slid down (y/n) face staining her cheek. Chris refilled her wine and she downed this one too. *Do you want to talk about your experience?* Chris asked. (Y/n) tenced up. *No. No I dont Chris.* She said darkly. Chris nodded understanding her distress. They sat there downing the wine bottle in silence. It wasnt uncomfortable though and the silence and presence of another person who wasnt hurting her at the moment calmed (y/n) down enough to slightly relax at last.
