Chapter 7 The reluctant team

Chris grabbed a few guns and knifes from his trunk and quickly raced inside Genisis. Determined to rescue (Y/N) and (Y/S/N) before kickass and hitgirl got to them. He peaked inside waiting for an ambush. But noting that the coast was clear he continued down the hall.
Chris rounded the first corner and suddenly an alarm blared and red warning lights started flashing. In the distance he herd people scrambling and yelling. These unidentified people were quickly moving tword him. So thinking on his feet Chris bolted to the next hall over.
Kickass and Hit Girl moved cautiously tword the back collection of rooms. Having studied the map of this building the back rooms seemed like the most likely place to keep the kidnapped women. The pair ignored the warning lights and tried to keep quiet and out of sight.
A few halls over they could hear screaming and gunfire. So Kickass and Hit Girl changed there route and went down the hall. Chris just so happened to be sprinting down the adjacent hall. And the three crashed into each other. All three of them were knocked on their asses.
They all just sat there and stared at eachother in absolute shock. But quickly recovered hearing more people screaming and guns being fired. Kickass helped Hitgirl up and Red Mist followed them closely. Hitgirl turned around abruptly.
*You need to leave.* She said glaring at Red Mist. She was very threatning and for a moment Chris actually concidered leaving. But something in his gut told him to stay. *No im helping weather you like it or not.* He said matter of factly.
Hitgirl was about to reply when some scientists spotted them. *Oh shit* One of them said looking at the man on the right. He pulled out a microphone that was clearly used to communicate with the rest of his team. *We have a code 2116!* He screamed.
Chris pulled out his gun and shot him in the head to shut him up. Kickass turned around. *Thanks man.* Hitgirl looked at him. She sighed. *Fine you can come with us but at the first sign of trouble from you im sliting your throat.* She told him seriously. Chris gulped but nodded agreeing to the terms.
