Second Person Pov

Lately, Catra had been really distant towards you. You had no idea why though. You and Catra had always been close friends since basically birth. Was it something you did? Something you said? You would never know until she told you. So today you decided that you would ask her about it.

You spotted Catra in the castle gardens. You thought it was kinda odd, since she never went into the castle gardens. If she did, it was to help you plant flowers. But she stopped doing that recently, so you had to ask Glimmer to help you. You tried to walk a little loud so your presence could be known. But she didn't even turn around to look at you. "Hey Catra. I was wondering if we could talk for a minute?" You asked timidly. Catra was eternally grateful that you couldn't see the blush on her face. Even the sound of your voice made her all flustered.
"What?" Catra said coldly. "Well... you've been avoiding me, and I wanna know why. Did I do something? Or was it something I sa-" Catra cut you off by cupping your cheek and kissing you. You were shocked for a split second before kissing back. Catra pulled away panting slightly, "I've been distant because I was scared that if I told you about my feelings, it'd ruin our friendship. You're the best thing that's ever happened to me Y/n. I can't lose you." At this point she had tears running down her cheeks.
How could she think that? How could she think that you would ever stay away from her? "Catra, I love you no matter what you do. If you thought I was gonna cut you out of my life, then you're crazy." You said, kissing the tears on her cheeks.
"You really mean that?" Catra asked.
"Of course I do."
She then pulled you by your waist into her body and kissed you. This kiss was more fierce than the last one. It got heated very quickly, "Let's take it slow okay?" You said smiling softly. Catra blushed a adorable red, " Right, of course."
