As I make my way home, all I can think about is Ana's brown eyes. They were so plain, and simple, yet extraordinarily beautiful at the same time. Ana is a very pretty girl, but she hides under her hair, and behind large clothes. I wonder why she is bullied so much? Maybe the other girls are jealous. She is so smart and beautiful.

Before I know it, I am back at home. When I walk through the door, Claire and Tony are sitting at the dining table with smiles on their faces. "Hey guys?" I look at them with a questioning look.

"Hello, Eric." Claire smiles. "How was the first class with your tutor?" She asks.

"It was fine." I raise a brow.

"How was the drive home?" Clarie asks.

"Normal, I guess?" I let out a nervous laugh. "Everything okay here?"

"Son," Tony starts, putting an arm around Claire's shoulders.

"I'm pregnant!" Claire sheriks. Happy tears glass over her eyes.

I was told they couldn't have children. That was the reason they went into adoption. The sole reason I am here. Now that they are expecting, they don't need me anymore. I force a smile and swallow hard. "I am happy you guys are getting the family you've always wanted... I will go pack up my things."

"What? No you won't!" Claire stands up and takes my hand. "We want you to stay with us. If you're up for it we want to adopt you."

"B-but I am only seventeen for a few more months—" I state.

"So? We want you to be a part of our now, growing family." She smiles widely. Tony stands up and stands next to Claire.

"This—And you're not joking?" I croak. My eyes begin to water.

"That would be a cruel joke." Tony laughs.

"Yeah, yes it would be." I am pulled into a hug and we all wrap our arms around each other. After a little while I break the silence. "So I'm going to be a big brother, eh?" I ask, still in the hug.

"Yea!" Claire sniffles.

"Boy or girl?" I question.

We pull out of the hug. Claire puts her arms on my shoulders. "We won't know that for a while." She snorts.

We all laugh, as a family.
