Maybe I should get her something? Would that be nice or weird? I definitely don't want to be weird. I don't want to scare her off. No, I bet if I get something nice, it would be nice. Not creepy—
"Eric?" Mr. Peer, the French teacher says, pulling me from my thoughts. "Quelle est la réponse?" He asks me what the answer is.
"Uh— Pouvez-vous... vous répéter la— question?" I ask if he can repeat the question.
"How do you greet someone in French?" Mr. Peer repeats.
"Oh— bonjour, je m'appelle Eric. And uh— c'est un plaisir de vous rencontrer." I answered by saying my name and that it was nice to meet them.
"Bon travail, Eric." Mr. Peer compliments.
"Merci, monsieur." I thank him. He nods and continues the lesson.
Crisis averted.
Anyway— what would be something nice to get her that is nice and not creepy?

I have to text Ana to let her know that I will be late. I hope it doesn't give her the impression that I don't want to be there. I will be quick. I have everything planned out in my mind. To get her something— Nice.
