She fiddled about slightly nervously. Would they be upset, she took longer to come back? Shaking her head she pasted a smile on her lips and ran to the door. Rushing through the cafe, she pounded up the stairs with a giggle. Skipping up the stairs, she pulled open the door with a large smile. "Hello agency!" she called out with a bright giggle waving her hands. Pulling the skirt of her dress up, she curtsied.

Dazai rushed from his seat to grab her hand. His tender and pale fingers wrapped around hers as he dropped to a knee. Kunikida pinched the brim of his nose with a grumble of annoyance. "Will you commit double suicide with me (Y/n)." rolling her eyes, the female placed a finger between the tall male's brows. Pushing him back, she smiled lightly.

"Sure, I actually found a few new suicide methods over the past two years." Kunikida's brow twitched as he facepalmed.

"Eh? Is this (Y/n)? Oh, god, do we have to deal with two suicide-obsessed maniacs?" a boy spoke up grabbing hold of (Y/n)'s attention. Removing her hand from a very still and shocked Dazai, she walked over to him.

"She's worse than that bandage wasting suicidal maniac. Rash, childish, emotional, and suicidal." Kunikida was already dreading the day despite how early into the day it was.

"Ooo! Who's this! What's your ability? How long have you been here? How old are you? What's your role? Aw, man! You're tall too!" the female crossed her arms and puffed her cheeks out. Her (e/c) hues glistening with the reflection of light.

"So many questions..." Atsushi backed up slightly uncomfortable. "I'm Atsushi, my ability is beast beneath the moonlight. I'm not really that tall? You're just a little... short?" Dazai laughed lightly, waving to Atsushi.

"Nice knowing you kid. That's one thing never to do with the little gremlin." whistling Dazai took a seat at his desk.

"I am not that short! Plus it's cute to be my height!" sticking her tongue out, she brought her knee up between his legs.

"That was just uncalled-for." Kunikida glared watching the petite female shrug her shoulders. Dazai looked over to her with a sigh shaking his head. Meeting his gaze, the female rolled her eyes.

"I'm actually heading out right now. My first day back will be tomorrow!" she hummed waving to the others.

"Oh no, you don't get your ass to your desk (Y/n)." Kunikida stood up ready to charge at her before she snickered.

"No can do Mr. Kunikida! I don't feel like being crushed to death!" she giggled lightly as she walked to the door. "I have a short ginger to say hi to! Probably gonna be yeeted across town for not giving him updates on a regular." Dazai could hardly hold back a laugh when he smirked and rested his chin over his clasped hands.

"Good luck, he's been pretty pissed these past few days. He tried to kick my pretty complexion all because I insulted his shoes." Dazai snickered watching as the female walked over to him and patted his hair. He noticed the scar on her forehead. Despite being mostly covered by her hair. The white cloth poking from just under her sleeves did not go unnoticed as she sighed.

"You give me the worst luck Dazai." she stuck her tongue out before skipping out the door. "I'm probably going to go drinking if you want to join me and Chu after work." slipping from the door, Dazai watched her with a small chuckle.

"Uh, I'm going to act like I understood what just happened." Atsushi blinked several times to express his utmost confusion.

"Just roll with it." Kunikida grumbled as he ran his pen over his paper. "They flirt without realizing it. Like Dazai, there's a sum that will go to whoever guesses her past profession before she decides to tell us. She knew dazai before he joined the agency. So it's a given neither of them can tell us what they did prior. Whether it was, related or not, we bet on who will get with the other first." Kunikida shrugged his shoulders glancing at a nodding Atsushi.

"Correction! I actually don't know (Y/n)'s past profession. I know she enjoys looking through death and solving crimes. She was actually unemployed before moving to London. I don't know what she did while in London. All I know is she suddenly went from innocent and full of life to be just as obsessed with suicide as myself." Dazai spun around in his chair as he thought for a moment.

"Yet knowing her the best, you've never guessed her profession", Dazai held up a finger stopping Kunikida's sentence.

"False, I've actually tried once or twice. I just know I'm wrong though. If anything, I thought it would have been similar to what I used to do. Though now that I think about it, I may actually try and guess tonight." he stopped the spinning of his chair, laying his head on his desk.

Looking at her phone, the doll-like female glared, puffing out her cheeks. Chuuya had denied all ten calls to him. That's what led to her standing outside the mafia headquarters. Tapping her foot until the ginger showed himself. His way of greeting her, a punch directly to her stomach. "Oh, so now you show up?" the anger slipped through his voice as the female stood up. Shaking off the impact, she smiled.

"Surprise? Look Chu, Nine told me to cut contact for a few months. I came back unharmed." she attempted to hug him, only to be shoved away. "Seriously? You're not a bit happy? I went back to that life for two years purply because I was trying to keep you from being targeted!" glaring, the female puffed her cheeks out.

"You didn't even stop by to say your leave! A goddamn letter! Inviting me out and leaving me with a letter. You can be such an idiot (Y/n). I can't stand it when you get like this! I hate it, you come and go like this is all a damn game to you.'' Chuuya turned away from her walking back towards the doors of the large black buildings.

"Chuuya... you know the first time wasn't by choice. Neither was this." the female looked down, listening for Chuuya's voice. She listened, but the only noise among the silence was a sharp click of Chuuya's tongue. Silence kept them in its embrace until Chuuya spoke up again.

"Yeah, sure you didn't have a choice. You damn well know you did. You waited five years to kill him. You know, the only reason you left was that you were given a justifiable reason to kill. I know you don't feel guilty about it (Y/n). You think I didn't figure out what happened to your parents? Think I don't know what they did to you? How much of an idiot do you think I am? I'm a mafia executive, I'm not stupid." there was another pause before Chuuya spoke again. "You knew they could send a whole organization after me and still not kill me. I can manipulate gravity. I have underlings, I'm part of the mafia. Dazai's too fucking smart to get caught in a trap or killed. He'd have prevented the agency from being hurt. He'd probably help your little secret too. So here's my take on it. You just needed a way to justify murder."

He wasn't wrong, the way she manipulates and acts was so similar to Dazai. He had spent years as the man's partner. Reading her was like reading a children's book, everything was right there in front of him. "Chuuya... I just." he shook his head shoving his hands into his coat pocket as he left her standing there. She reached out to grab him but missed the fabric of his clothes.

She'd royally fucked up.
