The moonlight glimmered in the windows as a red-haired male sat among the bar. The stairs leading into the setting dim, leading to a nearly black setting. In his gloved hand laid a glass of pristine wine. Two much older adults kept their distance but watched him. They would turn to one another to talk but eventually glance back to Chuuya. His ocean blue eyes stared into the glass as he tipped it to the side and swirled the red liquid within. A soft sigh escaping his lips as he set the glass down. Often he still felt like (Y/n) was lightyears away. She was so different from how he remembered her. He supposed her fiance could be blamed for her current emotional state. The way her personality had changed. "How about you tell us about her Chuuya?", the female adult ,who had hair a similar color to his, spoke up.
"Is there something specific you want to know, ane-san?" Chuuya often called the older adult ane-san, a formal way of saying, big sister. She helped him to adjust to the mafia when he arrived. They were not related, but to him, she had that protective elder sister, almost motherly feeling. "Whatever, it doesn't matter anyway." the male grumbled, tracing his finger over the glasses brim. "I was 11, and she was ten." the two adults smiled lightly as they listened to the executive.

A young girl was sitting on the side of a road. Her head was buried in her arms. Her cheeks puffed out in a pout. Her eyes were red from the water dripping down her cheeks. Her nose was slightly red as she stared at her feet. It was no help that the air was frigid and cold that night. A boy, just a few centimeters taller than her, stepped towards her frail body, tapping her shoulder. "Hey, it's cold." the boy had whispered concern to the female, but she slapped his hand away.
Shock filled the boy as he huffed and crossed his arms, stomping his foot with a huff. The girl immediately looked up her hand flying to the back of her neck as apologies fell from her lips. "You startled me! I'm sorry do you need anything? How do I make it up to you?" the frail-looking female asked the red-head with a soft voice.
Tilting his head, he rolled his eyes. "Eh? Hey, you've been crying! Come on stand up." the boy had huffed helping the girl to her feet. She complied to everything he asked. It was slightly annoying to the young boy.
That had been the night they met. Finding the (e/c) eyed female glossed in tears, her hair pulled back in a ponytail. Strands were left out to form a bow at the top of the ponytail. At the time he had not registered the redness, or small cuts over her cheeks. He had thought them normal for people living in such an old and run-down part of Yokohama. He had not found the signs or paid attention to them. The way her dress fell to her knees and puffed out. The way there was not a single tear, only dirt. The white underlayer of the skirt was stained a dirty gray. A few drops of red splattered onto it. The pink fabric of the top layers swayed lightly in the wind. The (s/t) of her skin equal to that of a doll's shine. She seemed to have little meat on her bones, as if she were starving.
He would often find the girl sitting outside the home. He would never ask why she kept appearing there. As the days slowly moved by, the petite female would spend little time inside. The injuries she had slowly faded away. By the time she was twelve, she'd grown attached to the male. "You're late today!" she pouted crossing her arms as she held her head high.
"Yeah, well, I'm not that late you tiny human doll." the red-haired teen bawled his hands into fists. They were hidden inside his pockets, an easy way to keep his cool.
"I am not that tiny! If anything you're small! You even have red hair, so that makes you a shrimp!" she stuck her tongue out before taking a step from the porch towards the boy. Her foot crossed the other causing her to tumble and trip directly into the boy's arms. He fell under her weight, the two of them landing in a puddle.
"How are you so damned clumsy (Y/n)!" the boy shouted, pushing her away as he stood up. He looked at her, face red with embarrassment, eyes glimmering with no intention to face him.
A woman's voice sounded from inside the home. Her voice was slightly slurred and drowsy. "Brat, where did you run off to. I wasn't done scolding you!" there was a moment of worry on the female's face before it faded to a playful expression.
"Going out with a friend, mama! I'll be back to help you and papa with dinner!" There was no reply, only the door opening to a scrawny annoyed male. He looked from the girl on the ground to the gentle and small male before her.
"Fucking brats. Go on, get lost," he grumbled, puffing a cloud of smoke from his lips. The two children waited until the door had shut and the adult had left. Walking closer to the doll-like female, the boy held out his hand for her. She took it, using it to stand, she smiled kindly. The boy dropped her hand with a fast click of his tongue. The female gripped the sides of her dress before lowering her body and beginning to run.
The boy blinked, taking in the challenge. His own eyes set into daggers. He began to run after her, listening to her tender laughs. "Come on slowpoke! I'll get to the sea before you if you don't hurry up!", when her feet reached the beach her hands flew to the back of her dress. Her fingers worked with skill, undoing the lace ribbon, the dress fell to the floor.
The boy she was with came to a halt looking away. "What the hell!" he shouted before hearing the girl giggle.
"Hey! Don't you dare think naughty things shrimp! I'm wearing a tank-top and a pair of shorts under the dress! I didn't want to ruin my new dress. Mama bought it for me, so I could look special!" looking back to the female, he huffed and slipped his hoodie off.
Grabbing her arm, he tugged her towards the water. Smiling, she closed her eyes. Her hands scooped the water up and tossed it at him. He pounced on her, dragging her under. She turned that around quickly until they were rolling over the smooth sand. The two of them laughing uncontrollably. Their hands were closely entangled as they stared into the open sky. "It's freezing." the boy huffed.
"Yeah, we'll probably both be sick after this. It's worth it though! We got to hang out alone on a beach!" the female hummed glancing to the boy who gave a soft chuckle. He tore his hand away with another tongue click. He grabbed his hoodie, tossing it over the female's shoulders. He looked to the side to hide the rosy color of his cheeks.
Smiling, the girl laughed, poking his side. "Shut up, you're shivering. If you get too cold you'll shatter.'' Another slight laugh left the (h/c) female's lips as she stood up tugging the hoodie over her arms. She leaned down and pecked the boy on the cheek.
