Four months passed before she was ready to make her decision. Walking up to Dazai, she smiled. Her face a deep crimson as she fiddled with a few strands of hair. "I made my decision," she mumbled looking at him. She lifted her head and pulled the other male in for a short kiss.

Standing there, pink as a rose, the female shoved a note to Dazai's chest and walked to her desk. Covering her face in embarrassment as she squirmed in her seat. "Yes! I won this one!" the wear-tiger, Atsushi proclaimed as he held his hand out. Kunikida rolled his eyes as Ranpo huffed and slapped down 100 yen. Yasano sighed and handed over 100, this was followed by Kenji and Kyoka. Kunikida was the only one who hadn't bet on their relationship.
"You bet on us?", the female mumbled peeking from her fingers looking to Dazai who snickered.
"You didn't know? I figured that out when the betting pool started." puffing her cheeks out, the female groaned.
"Had you gotten with Chuuya I'd have won." Yasano huffed, seemingly upset.
"I bet it would take you six months, then you'd ask one of us and decide on whoever would treat you better." Kyoka shrugged.
"I said you'd wait 2 months and go for the ginger." Kenji smiled.
"And I said you'd end up with Dazai before the end of the year.'' Atsushi hummed, pocketing the yen with a gleeful smile.
Shaking her head, the female ran her hands over her face in annoyance. "You guys all suck."

The moon glistened through the windows of the ballroom. A small table holding two glasses. "God, this was a bad idea." the female muttered as she looked around the large ballroom. What if this was too much for a private first date? What if he didn't like it. Shaking her head, the female adjusted her braided bun. Making sure it wasn't going to fall, she touched the jewels that dangled from her ears and neck. The dress she had on was still a tad childish but also styled as a ball-gown. The (f/c) parted in the middle and ended just above the edge of the skirt. The ruffles of white underneath the splendid drop of color stood out as she waited for Dazai. The front of the dress was laced up and tied at the top, forming a bow that hung loosely. The waist had a ribbon neatly tied with glittering sparkles. It had been so long since she'd dressed up like this. Her arms were, without coverage, the scars on display. The true form of showing her trust.
When the doors opened, Dazai stood in shock looking the female up and down. His hair was slicked back. Wearing the same color as the female in front of him, he chuckled lightly. Walking towards her as he listened to the sweet music in the background. "Traditional, classy, and cliche." he hummed, offering his hand to her.
"If I say I wanted an excuse to get heavily dressed up in an older styled dress, would you believe me?" (Y/n) whispered as she took his hand. As he pulled her towards him, he wrapped an arm around her waist.
"Actually, I would. As long as you believe me that after this I want to commit double suicide with you." laughing under her breath, the female stood on her toes to kiss his cheek.
"That's the most believable thing I've ever heard, Dazai. After all, you're obsessed with suicide." his lips tugged up to a smile lightly as they swayed in the music.
"True, but would you believe me if I told you, I might want to stay around just a bit longer. Just to cherish the small moments like this." a soft silence passed as the female thought about his words.
"I'd believe that," she whispered.
Dazai slid both hands to her waist and lifted her, spinning her around before letting her fall back to the dance floor. The two inhuman beings pranced beside each other. For once both of them felt slightly closer to humanity. Understanding the thing they called love.
